i deeply read what cargo and other said about not giving a fast judgement on the car.
you're in a way right, the car is a prototype and PD is guessing how it should behave on handling corners and such.
i applyed to the TT yesterday evening...ahahah guess...
...red lapped every single lap!
stuck at 1.33.866 while my top of the friend list is at 1.31.7XX
the frustration to me comes from not getting any better...
but probably i found out why:
1. i am failing in getting a right reference on the track where to start to brake.
2. i am dealing too fast in getting the throttle up...should be more gentle on the pedal.
3. seems that the car gives his best with a rougher style of driving instead a full clean one (oversteer ftw).
any hints?
settings:
using DFGT
TC 1
no SRF
ABS 1
Controller Sensitivity 6.
As much as it pains me to give this type of advice, you are going to have to turn SRF ON. Also, turn off the TC and get used to good throttle control. Start off slow, really concentrating on getting the feel for the car. Don't try to set the world on fire with your first lap, you're only hindering your progress when you do that. Gradually work your speed up the more you get used to the car. The important thing is concentrating on getting clean laps first, you're speed will come after that. You need to develop good driving habits first before worrying about your speed. Establish your braking points once you get up to speed....watch the top replays to help determine good braking points. Most important thing is though, you gotta start out slow and get the feel for the car, don't over drive it. Hope this helps you out, good luck with your progress. You can do it my friend, I know you can. 👍
