We've finally made a decision on the track for this week. It's one of Dave's creations.
It's available from Dave's (Turbonator) community section for download.
Here are the regs
CURRENT COMBO : TBC
RACE NO: 18 OPEN
START DATE: Wednesday 22nd February
CAR: ANY STOCK PRODUCTION CAR
PP: 504
TYRES: Sports Hard
TUNING: Prohibited
ROOM NUMBER: SEE LAST POSTS
TRACK : Available from turbonator - SAMMY 2 R8
ROOM NAME: TCR - 504PP STOCK

Little bit of Wednesday fun in a car I know most of you have never looked at twice, to my Knowledge not used at TCR before either, one make race stock so we are all locked into the same time zone in this one.

Tonight is a Wednesday fun night, the main event for the rest of the week is as the details in Alexi's post
Good man đź‘Ť see some pay attention, all just a bit of fun don’t like it when the game gets to serious.
The DMC would have been a good choice, but at 191bhp think it would have put us to sleep (we could run faster) on Dave's nice wide flowing track.
Plus being standard some may not have the car, so I've picked one that everyone will have.

Will try to summon up the energy for a race or two. All I need is a red bull, spinach, gummy beary juice, shredded wheat, isotonic sport and amphetamine cocktail to sort me out. I don't have any of those things.

Back into the 21 century after being locked into the 1970 Ford Mustang Trans-Cammer.
In the couple of hours I had to find a car with a difference for Dave’s track, and one not used at TCR before this beast was a good drive.
I see from watching some of the members, it didn’t really suit the full on attack style of some racers, but once they started to calm their style and run as smooth as possible, it was rewarding in the end.
Good shot here of Spy leading the way into the last turn making full use of the jelly suspension. Gray in the background, I was third like a starker, 4 laps on the bumper of Gary. Like two black Rottweiler dogs in the shadows waiting to pounce on Spy.
Although not a hard car to drive on sport medium tyres, the concentration level was full on, as at any time it lapsed this beast was always ready to bite.
10/10 to all that stuck it, some fantastic driving from cico, tiggles, Mr D, Spy, Storm, Dan and others.
My apologies to Cobani for not getting to run this car, but a change of car was requested and I’m all for keeping the troops happy.

I’ve shared a track I would like you all to try for next Wednesday, as this means two tracks for next week a Main Event track from TCR and this, one off track for members Wednesday fun night.
Not a hard track to learn as it only has two left turns, all the others are right turns and a full week to look at it, so by weds you’ll know it like the back of your hand.
This is for Alexi’s requested Triumph Spitfire race, I’ve done many laps on this track with the Spitfire maxed out as Alexi post says, I’ve not got bored yet. I also tried a number of laps on Dave’s Sammy2RB, it was like a pea in a colander, and although the car went well on here, it just felt lost and left me wanting more.
As members of TCR I hope you try this out and give feedback, as without it we don’t know if you want to try new venues, strange combo’s or just stick to the same.
We have three options for Wednesday the shared track, TCR main event track or a game track like Madrid or other.
I do have a spare Triumph Spitfire, painted and new boots, engine rebuild & body restore done. I’ve also fitted all parts + aero, if any members does not have the time (work) or Cr’s then I can gift you my spare one.

Had a couple of races with captain and it was great fun. 458 vs GTR was very close.
Annoyingly, I won't be around much this weekend, which is a shame as I was really getting in to this combo. Dave has done a great job on the track. đź‘Ť

Shame to hear that Alexi and yes the track is spot on đź‘Ť I tried the Ford Mustang @ 504pp yesterday on SH went just as good, but the change to 5th still makes me
shame some guests didn't see the funny side of it.____________________________
