I gave my Zonda (C12) and engine rebuild and it got popped up to 506 PP at 404HP. So I'm guessing it must run quite close to the C12S...

I used one of my restoration tickets on my C12 00' and still running it in but so worth it. Awesome evening thanks gents.

This is a very easy combo as it’s a new track; the Alfa makes it even easier.

Stock car with oil change as it comes from the dealership.

If you’ve not got this car already, run over to the Online Collector’s Dealership right now.

Get in quick before PD updates the listings again.

I’ve shared this very easy track so you can download it, you’ll see it’s very easy and very fast, a lap is just over the minute, or maybe under if your quick.

TEAM RACING

We are looking to run this new and exciting combo.
Two teams one car.

This is how it works.
We need a minimum number of ten drivers that will be split up into two teams, and each team is responsible for getting the best set up out from that car for race day.
Each team will select a name and colour for there team (cars must be painted with team colours)
Position on race day will be pulled out from a hat randomly, one at a time from each team.
At the start of a race after the count down everyone will do a warm up lap and take their positions once back at the start. So make sure you remember where you stand. The race will then start on the time shown via chat. I will explain this better on practice days.
There will be only one practice event when everyone can attend this,
The same for race day.
Example
POLE
RED BLUE

ROW TWO
BLUE RED

ROW THREE
RED BLUE

And so on.

If for example your best driver in your team lands up on the back of the grid, as a team you should help each other to get him/her through as quick as possible and work together to get maximum points out from the race.
Also if your best driver can’t get through he/she can put in the fastest lap and score an extra point for there team.
Sound good so far.
Depending on how many we have on race day will depend on the points system, e.g.
If there are ten drivers this is how it will look.
First 10 points
Second 9 points
Third 8 points
And so on.
So every point counts.

Any hard shunting in the race will result in loosing all your points.
This shouldn’t be a problem, as I know how clean you guys are.
If you do knock someone off the track and don’t wont to loos your points you must wait and let that person back on in front of you.
Slip streaming will be opened to strong, this will create a lot of overtaking so helping your front runners to get away from the start as quickly as possible is vital.
Only one move when over taking is allowed when defending your position
This is all about good tactical team play.

So I need names and when best to run this combo because we need a night where everyone can make it.
IF you have other ideas or questions let me know.
OUTSIDE FRIENDS ARE WELCOME.
IF SOMEONE CANNOT MAKE IT ON THE RACE DAY YOU CAN BRING A FRIEND TO COVER THAT POSITION.
I DON’T KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK YET BUT LETS GIVE IT A SHOT.

I am in aswell...but this whole week i'll be very busy with work, probably also till late in the evening... :grumpy:

But i like the idea for sure 👍👍

TCR – Endurance

Ok I’m almost there now with the latest idea for members of TCR, I’ve been working now about two weeks on an Endurance race event, I built two tracks which, one or two members have tried and looks like we maybe on to a winner.

One track will be a wet / day endurance race of 15 laps with two pit stops for tyres, at the moment with the McLaren MP4 – 12C ’10 (Premium)
The other track not as long will be a dry race for the top race cars. (Still to be decided)

That’s the outline more details once I’ve got the plan of when to run these finalised, as this is for members only it will be run in private lounges. I think a Sunday would be a good day for most as time zones can be a big issue.

Starting mid-afternoon will give members time throughout the day and evening to take part due to time zones and personal lives (babies)

If members of TCR agree, I would open my lounge at 13:45hrs on a Sunday for a 15 minute warm up for the race to start at 14:00hrs prompt, then on the hour every hour, with the help of other members of course if one room gets full another can be opened and run two lounges.

Along with what Dave & Gary are planning, a Wednesday break and the main event format we should be getting close to a full variable portfolio of events.

Please give feedback if your free (Ish) on a Sunday at some time in the day/night and would like to try this as a change.

Phillip.

Looks good Phil and I believe I have driven one of the tracks and it's a great drive the only problem is I have to work on Sunday but could make it in the evening.

Is anybody around tonight to do a bit of NSX RM on GT Paddock Raceway tonight from lets say 21:30.

Great Video Jon. 👍

Here are a few pics in my album of this Wednesdays Midweek break Day / Night event.

Great Video Jon. 👍
Phillip.
Thanks Phil.

It’s a track that absolutely deserves credit as I think it a great track as it feels like a track rumble strips in all the right places, good markers for braking flowing and slow corners, everything you’d want from a created track. So the videos there to promote this one as I really enjoyed this one from Gary.

And it's three sectors:)

Yes it is a great track, as are 99% of tracks; I find it’s more what you use with them that makes the experience pleasurable. 👍

Some of us are old enough to remember when men were men and all they had was bales of hay for crash barriers http://8w.forix.com/df2/hs-aa-monza50.jpg like here at Monza and no rumble curbs, not even painted edges. :scared:

Phillip.

Believe it or not Phil it has been one of my goals to see if I could find a good track to drive without any rumble strips. Just for a heritage event.
There is mount Atso but such long straights and the hills would cause little hp cars to struggle. But will keep trying as I haven’t had a go at making a track in a little while now. I might be rusty.

Yeah it is very limited in what you can achieve, as part of the game it’s something PD could work on updates for I agree.

So long as we get enjoyment out of what we do with the limited tools we have, that’s what matters, you make um Jon, put a classic with it I’m sure we’ll still enjoy it. 👍

Phillip.

Great video Jon, that combo works well it seems, appreciate your comments too but as Phil mentioned, the car used on a particular track can make a diffference to how successful it is. Cheers!

Well I'd be up for an open car/any car (500pp sports hard) on your Shakedown track tonight? Anybody around as Alexi said he could be online tonight.
