Traction Control 1.05 patch problem

WRONG, MINE'S STILL WORK! 1.05 MESSED up with SAVEDATA... IF you go ON-LINE - which I know everyone want to check for EXP and $$ from on-line - While TCS and AMS are BANNED, it will write over on your SAVEDATA, then you can't use it anywhere in GT LIFE!

HERE is the Video showing it WORK then going on-line where TCS banned, then going back to SAME race as before, it disable! Now case closed!


NOTE: I ran backup before doing this, when that glitch happen, I reload save and it's work again.

Well for me my ra dial was working fine. I dont play gt5 for around 2 days due to college work. I come back to play the game and the first race and my ra dial isnt allowing me to adjust the tc.

Hey Again MADTJ .. try the Special Events section .. some of those events have driving assists turned off so IT WILL happen to you too Bro .. hope not but if you do try please let us know .. I`d be willing to restart my game if I could have the options back to use where they are allowed .. :cool:

nobody read my post? the Bug is from On-line where room with BANNED ASM/TCS will disable for whole GT LIFE game, I even showed 2nd youtube to PROVE that! so it's not just Savedata.

Hello, you're right. The problem occurs after entering games online.
I'm with the patch 1.05 and my DFGT stopped working the functions ASM / TCS after playing online. The problem is not seasonal events.
I'm in Brazil and I think a crime to take this function steering wheel since I bought him for this purpose.
I tried everything and it does not work. that this boring.
PD Please, solve it!

I just started to have this problem yesterday. It was working fine till now. I did go online into a race on Sunday, so I am inclined to feel that it is related. I have the DFGT. I have not tried to do anything to fix yet.

I sure hope it is taken care of. I did my first A-Spec rain race and it was tough not being able to change the TCS after the race already started.

Hopefully Translater-san is watching from above and has heard our cries and will notfiy PD. :sly:

Yes it would be GREAT if "Translator-san" { 💡 :) } was reading this forum and relaying the information to the "Big Cheese" :bowdown: himself. I bought this wheel exclusivly for GT5 and now I fell RIPPED OFF by Polophony .. :mad: :banghead: :mad: :banghead:
 
Same problem here with my DFGT. I'm not able to select T/C and ASM in GT life after an online race where they both were not allowed.

It really takes the experience away when driving with the DFGT in GT Life. I thought it was very useful because you can instantly feel the difference, and saves a lot of time because you don't have to restart with different settings.
 
so no fix after the updates today? My bob is running a
n endurance race atm so i cant check, but from above it would apear we are still facing this issue
 
If it is being caused by going into an online lobby with the restrictions on, try going in to your own lobby and turning the restrictions on. Then turn them off again before you leave the lobby and see if that overwrites the save (I am just thinking along the lines of the restrictions being saved 'on' from the first time).
 
Hmmm good thought. My bob is again running in indy 500 just to get from 28 - 29 so he can do it all over again a few more times (anyway another issue all together), so i cant try that right now.
If anyone does try, then please feed back.
 
My friend just tried it and it didn't work. He also tried the reassignment to sixaxis with no luck. He is using a G25 and I restricted the ASM in an online lobby with him the other day, oops!
 
Strange that some say case closed. No it's not, PD needs to fix this immediately...

Lot of people saying this happen, other happen, other happen. But i'm saying how to get glitch is Case Closed... Only 1 way to get it locked out is ON-LINE where TCS, ASM is banned. Yes PD still need to fix it, so it's case open for them to fix it.

no the only way dude. i got it just after i played a seasonal event, yes it was online but it didnt have the tc blanked out.

The point is Polyphony NEEDS to fix this ASAP!!
 
I think some people who don't have the problem don't believe there's a bug. I've got this problem too, but I don't really use it much anyway.

I've played ALL Seasonal Events and my TCS/ASM STILL WORK. :)

look at video I made few post up. Yes they need to fix it, but i'm letting you know how to avoid it for while until they patch it.

Did you start your game after the 1.05 patch? :)

If so then I may restart my game all over .. :crazy:
 
Was hoping to look at this thread and get a fix for this problem.
Obviously no solution as yet so hoping that they fix it in the next patch.
Anyone got ANYTHING on when the next patch is due?
 
I have been doing Seasonal Events since we've had them. Everything WAS fine until... I have not raced online AT ALL until last Saturday. Can you guess what happened? You have 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count.

Hit the man up on Twitter until they fix this. @Kaz_Yamauchi
