mauve went inactive just before the HoR Vs GF war so i have had no contact with him and if my memory servers me correctly mugen said he was not planning to but none of this is solid fact

This is kind of a stupid question considering how long some of us have played over all the different travian servers, but when the game FIRST STARTS, does everyone have newbie protection or does that come into play later?
Whatever the answer, this will have a huge effect on how I start. Based on the nature of the question, I'd be willing to bet you already know what I'm planning.

We accepted 3 new memebers today. Stigma (Loki), Setheus (Loki), Alarich (CB?/UNITY/Paragon)
The member list is very impressive. I think even if you don't join we should try to ally. The 7000 praets and 3000 legs of dr.s have not been forgotten.
anaracaix has said there are no 5 or 7 crops, just 6, 9 or 15.
