wow I am teh suck, I've been getting my ass kicked the same dude over and over again. He's ranked 6th and I can't touch the guy. Unfortunatly for him my crannies are too high for him to get any resources.

But he wipes out all of my troops. :(

So your crop production should go up when you send troops out?

I just sent out like 47 imperians and 21 imperatoris and 14 legati and it hasn't budged. Damnit..... and I won't get **** from the raid. Cllick..

Wow... no replies for almost a day... :ill:

I'm currently producing:

Wood: 48 per hour
Clay: 42 per hour
Iron: 42 per hour
Crop: 4 per hour (in need of a big rise...)

(is this fairly good for a population of 107?)

Menglan = 0 pop. :(.

lol. What's the best defense against catapults? I need to build some of my own.

I think this is a case where the best defence is a good offence.

But, if you do find yourself facing down catapults with an army to go along with them, I guess the best way to go would be to defend against the attacking army first. If you can deal with them, then the catapults should be destroyed easily.

Unless of course, someone here actually has sucessfully defended against a catapult attack or has heard of a tested defence that worked.

No one would dare send cats unless they had at least 300 troops escorting them, unless you can defend that, hope they didn't pick something incredibly useful and take the hit.

I was pretty successfull in destroying 4 catapults with a handful of clubbers and a couple other troops. This guy sent two waves at me (one just infantry and cavalry, the other infantry and the catapults); I just completely avoided the first wave, but made sure my troops were back in the village by the time the catapults arrived. I destroyed them all. He only sent about a dozen infantry units to escort the catapults, though.

Tragically my dear friend Chloe, who's population went from 120 to 6 this week is gone. Truly a sad day. Chloe, you will be missed.

In her honour my third village will be named Iscrixedda II.

My 3rd village, population 108 has production: 99/110/99/65 :)

I just started.

The name is DJT
and Im at 99/67
and Im in the southeast.

I've never played anything like this before so Im not
sure how long I'll last.
It looks like fun though.

He was answering his own question.

Is his production any good? Yours, in a village the same size, is twice as much so, in answer, no, not really.

I just lost 2 (of 4) legionnaires raiding Jacco.... mind you, he only had 2 legionnaires, and lost 1...

WTF?

I just attacked some other guy. Here's the numbers:
Me: Population 383, sends 40 Theutates Thunders on a normal attack.
Target: Population 100, 77 Clubswingers (as it turns out).

This guy has no defensive wall whatsoever, according to a scouting I performed immediately after.

The basic simulator says - 40 Thunders attack, 1 Thunder dies, 77 Clubswingers die.
The plus simulator says - 40 Thunders attack, 2 Thunders die, 77 Clubswingers die.
The plus simulator says - 40 Lvl0 Thunders attack, 6 Thunders die, 77 Lvl20 Clubswingers die.

What actually happened was all 40 Thunders died and 28 Clubswingers remained alive.

How is this possible?

I'm with you on this one Famine. Clubswingers should be virtually useless against any sort of cavalry.

My next attack is less subtle.

This guy is in the top 200 for defence as well. With clubswingers and no wall.

Edit: I've sussed it. Not that it matters in the slightest. He'll be wiped off the map come Monday.

That would seem doubtful at 100 population and cetainly not the level I assume it would need to be at to cause such a defense bonus.

There is some sort of defense bonus for smaller villages against large ones.
