You're not in an alliance and he has the right to attack you.

Why not enter GTP-R?

Loudmusic, i was just testing how big your crannies are.
That's why i attacked you again in the morning.

dustdriver - I think you have attacked a member of the Odin alliance. Are they making any threatening sounds back or are they taking it okay. I only ask because I'm close to the one you attacked and a larger one, so I want to know if I should leave some more troops at home or not.

No. Attack means one-side will lose all their troops, raid means you'll always have at least a few troops survive, unless you're outnumbered by like 10,000:1

And what do you have to show for it? But if you were to raid her your men would come back full every single time.

This acion would be followed by Mcraven's men coming back full every time from your village. While your villagers buried your dead troops.

Well I still think that GTplanet.net members shouldn't attack eachother ... ok maybe some future ally wars might lead to attacks, but just for raiding ? No....

I'd tend to agree, but that's not even my point here. My point is that he's wasting time sending troops at me. My crannies hide more from Teutonians than my warehouse can store.

But whatever. I guess it's good old fashioned fun.

1. Because I'm past the point where crannies can protect all my resources
2. After the first raid she'd have 500 defenders waiting for you.

So I guess fearing the big people is the way of life in Travian. Yay!

Raiding big players is indeed a bad idea in 9 out of 10 cases, especially if that player is in an alliance.

Farm small villages or normal villages instead... less resources but also less trouble.

Or don't raid at all ( I don't and I am currently ranked 29th )...
Although I could be better with farming...for sure... but ..ah well maybe my farming career will start with my third village which is a bit off the center of travian.... :)

Hey Max, how do you like to work alliance relations? We've been thinking of giving 2-3 members of your alliance access to our forums or something, or do IGMs to you work well enough?

I am preparing a special forum for our ministers and some of you ( boom for example has registered 2 days before); there ia already a section for CB? ... I'll also add an area for cb? Paragon and fukyô ; I'll have finihed it by tomorrow....
of course we can additionally also join in your forum ( we = my ministers an I, all close longterm reallife friends)

Out of interest, do Scouts report ALL resources (if resource scouting), or all available resources not hidden in the Crannies?

Click on the rally point to see how much your troops consume.
Only the troops at home consume food.

Hmm.

If I - and assume I have - send siege weapons out, and they report that they have "destroyed" the building I've targetted, is it actually destroyed or just reduced to Level 0?

I only ask because I've "destroyed" a Woodchopper and a Main Building of one of my neighbours. His population has dropped too...

Oh, and the interface is crap. I can pick which building to target from a drop-down menu, but I've no idea what buildings my opponent actually HAS...
