TCS and ASM are fine, as are any N or S tyres.
Replays (.xps or .max) require a device named MaxDrive that enables one to copy replays from/to the memcard. Check at codejunkies.com or play.com.
Welcome to the TTA !

:D
I joined 2.5 years ago and I'm still around. Check the link to the WRS in my sig if you're looking for some GT4 challenge.

I am trying like crazy to best stidrivers time in the WRX STi car. I only need to loose about .1 off my current time. I must say that I have been working very hard on this one! :scared:

I played around with the STI spec C some and my new time is 53.198.
Still need some more time to get at hsh's 4wd time.

Now I have to work even harder... Thanks 👍 for the replay. It has been a mystery to me why I can't seem to approach this time. If you feel like giving away info on your setup I would appreciate it. :)

To Flatout. If i may suggest something, would it be a good idea that everybody would say if their times have been done with the joypad or a type of steering wheel?

Here's another time for you Cyril. It's not the fastest lap in the Midget category, not even the fastest Honda Beat but I may as well post it now. :D

Great time hsh with the STi spec C.👍 I ran your set-up and was in the 53.7's with them. Not the best set-up for my driving type. I will play around with them as a base and see what I can do with them.

My set-up of the 53.198 run. Only the changes are below and all other setting are at default.

Suspension:
Ride hight F/R = 115/115
Damper bounce R = 7
Damper rebound R = 7
Toe angle F = -1
Camber Angle F = 1.6
Stabilizer R = 5

Trans:
Final = 3.945

Drive line:
Diffs = std
VCD = std

Downforce F/R = max
Driving aids = 0/0/0

Stidriver, did a few laps running with your settings.
Really quite nice settings especially if one accidently gets the outer wheels on to the loose stuff.... the car stays pretty stable under braking 👍

Very small improvement though:

Thanks hsh. It still needed some work and so does my driving.

I take it this is not in effect?
I see Skylines and Imprezas, even a 6-cylinder catagory...?

Impreza's have a sub-2050CC displacement, and Skylines (new, R32-R34) aren't allowed - only some of the older ones, which have sub-2l engines. 6 Cylinders doesn't mean it has to be more than 2 litres, even though it's common...

oh, ok. I know in America the Subaru's have 2.5's, and I also don't know if there are any 6-cylinders with smaller than 2000 cc motors, thats all.

@ stidriver and hsh

Thanks for posting your setups for the Sti. I will have to give it a go... 👍

Another time for the board Cyril. Fastest Garaiya by less than a tenth. :D

SuperT - ASL Garaiya '02 - 56.856

Fully tuned and as fast as I can get it, maybe with a better driver at the wheel it could do a sub 55 second lap? :dopey:

Adjusted gearing so that I was only using 5 of it's 6 gears. If anyone wants my craptastic settings let me know and I'll post 'em up?

You midget racers must be crazy! I'm at least 2 seconds behind you!!! Guess I'm not gonna race in that class.
But I got some good times with my ASL Garaya... I'll post them soon, but I think there is still some room for emprovement...

first off, nice to see you've revived the concept :D

second, i'm gonna have a go at this. i'll do some times and get them up soon :)

Hi all,,

new here and i realy got stuck in gtplanet for the past 2 hours.. My question is that is this thread still active nd how the heck do i keep track of all chalanges! i followed a link on google and went up in FLAT-OUT´´s area of the qualifying with a bmw m3.. Is that a must before i can compete in any challenge? I did that qualify though:) and got some decent times to;D

please help:)

No that's only if you want to drive in the WRS. As for all other channenge's
you can entry any race in this thread(Spot Races and Lap Time Comparisons).

and dont forget james/angelcreator's excellent overview of current races which you can find over HERE.

TTA is still a sub 2050 cc challenge so all cars with a bigger engine than that are not eligible.

hey jus joined there this is briliant!!av been lukin ta do tsukuba time attack on dis game since i first got it!havent got the chance to do it on sports tires yet(i know they use them in the real time attack) but if its any relevance i set 43 second lap with fd3s rx7 on qualifying tires cant wait t get home now nd see how i compare!!!:nervous::nervous:

Welcome to GTPlanet and enjoy your stay. We always welcome new talent so be sure to get some entries in! 👍

But on a side note, be sure to remember and follow the rules of the local AUP:

No slang words that promote laziness, ie; "r", "u", "plz", etc. will be tolerated. Decent grammar is expected, including proper usage of capital letters. Repeated violations will be grounds for suspension and/or permanent removal from the forums.

Thanks.

I did 3 laps, to see how good i could get my time when straight out of the box, in my 94' impreza wrx sti.

Best lap time was a: 58.630

Stock transmission and only semi-racing suspension, no driver aids, i think i did pretty well,

p.s my impreza's kicking out 488bhp weighs in at just over 1100kg and i was on sports soft.
