There's those who have no sense of shame, and likely no talent either, whatsoever. In his mind "I'm Number One"!!!! :dunce::dunce:

Pathetic really, he'll think he's actually achieved something. Now that it's likely many will follow and the whole TT has been completely compromised, some of the real gun drivers should blow him off the leaderboard by running the same tactic since it may very well be shut down anyways.

That's really a shame. This is most likely the very first time i maybe finish within the Top 250. And we got such a crappy "competition", which is maybe gonna to be shut down in the end. If so - i will go crazy! On the other hand my time would be even better without this fakers.

Btw - Hello to all of you guys here on GTP. And thanks for the shared tunes and the sharing of your experiences. It helped me a lot over the last months and especially in this TT @ seca.

Hey Cole, well done on getting in the top 250. I wouldn't worry about the shortcutters, it feels pretty good to be able to post a good time on skill alone.

I don't know. I think it's PD's fault for not making time go red and lap not count when people cut a corner.

As soon as one person does it, others have to do it to compete. Kaz/PD should fix it, but they rarely do. It's only the first person that cuts that could even remotely be said to be doing something ''wrong''. People after that are just doing what they have to do to be competitive.

Be mad at Kaz. Don't hate the player, hate the game ~literally in this case.

I was going to try and get in the top 10 today but after seeing the top 2 replays I don't think I will bother.

I wouldn't mind betting the top 2 guys were doing this from the start but struggled to beat Yinato and Amo's time :lol:

A real shame as this was my first Seasonal TT I have ever put any effort into, the others I have just ran a lap to get the credits :(

Hey if people can do it at Chamonix and get away with it, pretty soon the other combo was going to have similar results :P little shortcuts here and there make life so much easier for some :dopey:

Seriously though... It doesn't take a genius to see the next TT's for months to come will be wrecked by track cutters unless PD fixes this track boundaries issue asap! Pull your finger out PD and update us with an improved penalty patch for track cutting and wall banging please?

That's all I have to say on the matter :)

Like I said the only seasonal TT I have ever put time into :ouch: I was getting back into the groove after my 2 to 3 month break as well, hopefully GT Academy will keep me occupied for a while :)

Great effort and time though Joao, since when did you get faster :dopey:

I think we need to swap signatures and you can take my D1 silver one :sly:
 
Well, thats it for me. I would like to thank PD for allowing these glitches. Most importantly tho, I would also like to thank all the people out there that exploit these programming flaws turning the leader boards into a cheating free for all. Well done guys, you really should feel proud. (sarcasm) To my friends on here that have ran clean laps and have gotten fast times, I commend you. It is an honor to compete with and learn from you all. Thats all I really have to say. Peace everyone.
 
Well that's too bad I was just getting into this one. I don't have access right now to view the replay, where is the cut? My guess is maybe they took the screw out of the corkscrew. Or just jumped the whole thing?

I do really wish they would fix these issues.

I just watched 1st place :lol: He drives through the start line and cuts into the pit exit lane before the cones start and rolls around the pit lane exit until it joins the track again and starts to drive from there :dopey:

Quite funny to watch tbh :P still the driver has no morals whatsoever 👎
 
Seems as tho doodlemonopoly has decided to follow the way of the cheaters and also run a dirty lap. Just another sad example of how people stoop to the cheaters level. It is sad that these peple can't be leaders of doing the right thing and have to be followers of doing the wrong thing. There is asolutely no excuse for this. Monkey see, monkey do I guess. This TT has clearly turned into a contest of cheaters.
 
Too bad it ended that way, didnt had that much time spent but would have like at least another attempt... oh well next one may be!

Yea, me too. Always had respect for the kid running with the controller and all, but lost that respect seeing him resort to cheating. Pretty sad he has to cheat just to get his name in the top 10.
Anyways, I wasn't going to do this TT anymore but decided otherwise. I'll just compete with the people on my friends list. At least I know thats a "cheat free" zone, lol.
 
LOL, the things people do to be in the top ten of a TT that'll soon fade in the wind.

But that's life, though. Trying to grab a permanent hold on temporary things.
 
Do I care? No. If the lap is not red, it counts. It's my choice and I can do what I want. If you don't like it your going to have to deal with it.
