It proves once again that these people really do listen, even if all you do is make fun of or vehemently thrashing Gran Turismo. I always say that they listen to you... just not exactly YOU. I'm not going to ask for anything silly to be in GT5. In fact, I never do. I think PD or any department of Sony Computer Entertainment fail to acknowledge the fans or be aware of all of the great support fans have given this series. Kazunori Yamauchi didn't think GT1 would sell or be received very well. Now look what happened. Now look at where GT is. I still think back to talking about the Bentley EXP GT would be great to race in GT4, especially since I've mentioned that Bentley won Le Mans five times in the first ten years of the race. I mentioned that, and if you read the scrolling marquee on Bentley, it mentions Bentley's five outright wins at Le Mans in the first ten years of the race.
So they DO listen. I don't think they'd pay too much mind to ones that are like "i lik Frris cuz dey cool," but more of the ones who are like "Ferrari is such an amazing marque in which the casual fan enjoy their speed, but the truly affectionate enjoy and understand their history and what it truly means to drive and own a Ferrari." This is a nice heads-up for gtplanet.net. It's like the U.S. President (or your nation's highest-elected official) recognizing you for a truly good deed. If anything, I think Jordan deserves the full brunt of the love because he made this message board possible for fans from all over the world.
