TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

Great racing with the gt500s today, even though I was just awful lol.

Again sorry for causing that mess on lap 1 with the Hondas, especially sorry to scarecrow, who made a glorius recovery, I know giving the spot back didn't change anything, but it was the least I could do :)

No worries... We got split into 2 packs and it was fun crawling back through traffic to the front of the second pack. Caught mbobb on 2nd to last lap for 4th. Had a spin out all by my lonesome around lap 10 anyways. I love SuperGT, but I'm not very good. I wrecked a lot in the Nissan's ...

Yeah I love the suzuka track but those nissans are intense lol

I have to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by the Honda NSX GT500's at Fugi. I got collected by a lap 1 wreck that race, but pulled back to 4th by driving patient and smooth. The body of that car flexes perfectly around the turns of the last sector.

Btw Martin, great battle around Nurb!
 
That Nurb races was fun. We ran the Epson NSX last week on Fuji as well. A great combo. One of my favorites.
 
Great races yesterday guys! Nurb was a blast, I think I drove it as we'll as I could! No mistakes really to speak of! Except Martin had the same idea! I could see him, but I couldn't reach him.. Then Tx in race 2 was movin out once he got settled in! Gt500's were a blast as well!

Great job! Turtle power!
 
I had only 1 mistake in the 12 laps we did in the Audi. Wish my race with the Viper would have been the same. Too many mistakes. I slammed into the pit wall to the right of the entrance . Had to reverse and try it again. Pretty much sums up the race.
 
Just curious of updating schedule soon for all the series? Understand that's its a lot of work here for you guys.

If you turtle stewards need help as well, I can help. Even though I'm kind of a backup steward in a way. :lol:
 
Guys we are going to take this upcoming holiday weekend off. We should have new races up in a week or so.Barring no problems.
Thanks to everyone that could make the races Saturday we had alot of fun.
 
My spotter told me Micantony was out there ... something about him already being done with the race eating dinner and why the hell aren't I done. By the time I finished, there was no Mac and cheese and garagefather was working on the last of the cornbread. Lol.
 
LOL. That Viper is a sweet car. I had missed the first race with it, so i'm glad i was able to experience the joy PsychoTuber kept referring to.

I must admit, the pace of hjhr75-08 (Masterhec) was impressive (i think that's who it was in 2nd). I've never raced with you before and i think the only difference in our times was that you ended up having one more off than i did during the race 👍 and then, of course, your long pit stops:lol:. Every sector i could see our splits going back and forth and i was flying!

That is one of my favorite cars to drive with no upgrades, but tuned. I was worried how it would work without the tune but it drove just like butter for me. Any incidents I had was just pure exhaustion or doing something silly (general lapses in concentration caused by my extreme ocd... oh, look! Squirrel!)

Yes I have a grey squirrel as a pet.. She is 6 and sits on my knee everyday after work to get some petting.. Look in my pics.. Don't judge me!

Ps. Mushrooms are her favorite food.
 
Sorry I couldn't make the anniversary event last weekend. But also, what's the deal with the schedule? Are we starting back at the top of the list for the next race or is there going to be a short break, or what?

I assume we are taking a break from racing after the anniversary races.
 
Since the stewards are taking many breaks. I thought if we have some racers who would like to race tommorow night, just to catch up on what's going on, please join if you want.

I was thinking we could meet up in the turtle town lounge and we will race previous car/track combo (shorter races) just for fun though. If you are interested in getting a couple races in tommorow. Ill be on around 5 pm central time, feel free to join later that night, or leave early.

I'm guessing psycho, mbobb, and Martin have been all very busy, so I wouldn't complain to them, they will get the schedule soon as it can be released!

So I was playing the GT6 demo and when i was looking at the times I saw a few familier names on the Friends leader board (Cough)MARTIN(cough) and I though i drop by and take a look at things. WOW this league has grown. I remember back when there was off days in the week and now it seems there is not enough days in the week for the TRL XD. Anyhow the I been itching to join again since i been getting back into racing altogether (getting back into flagging over at the racetrack) but my work has me working everyday a race takes place but not a single day a practice takes place. ANYHOW i will at least try to make it out to a few practices though. I dont want to take up a color or number yet though out of the fear my work will change and i will end up as wasted space once again on the driver board.
