Was leading the race with 7 to go, coming off turn 2, popped my back right tire and had to go back to the pack.. oh well, fun though.
 
I would have raced last night if I would of had Internet. I ended up playing race driver grid for a little bit. Man it sure does suck driving with the controller lol I'll probably skip out on competitive racing until gt6 comes out. I'm actually better with a controller, just not the ds3. I looked into the hks controller and its definitely not for me.

Damn tires! I hate it when that happens. You'll get them next time fosho. Great racing last night, I'm watching the replays now :bowdown: Shuffle Racing I actually feel competitive I held 4th place for 3 laps on Daytona Road :gtpflag: that's a damn milestone for me I usually just get passed. I'm here to learn and improve which I am, thanks fellas.

Well I finally got me a headset. Turtle Beach P11. Had 39,160 points on my GameStop card, used 38,500 to get a pair for free! My logic to the wife was, I got free points and since my ps3 and monitor are in the bedroom, I'll just get me a free headset so I wouldn't keep her up with the noise.

You all should be very afraid.. :D I'm probably the most hick sounding person you've ever heard. Beats typing on that keyboard! Now I gotta to pick it up and get my interwebs turned back on.

You must go out and buy it. The first one with all the dlc is like 20 bucks. The 2nd one is 27.99. We will run through it together. I've been wanting to play it for awhile. I had the first one on Xbox and got half way through it then my Xbox died. It's a first person shooter rpg type thing. I hate RPGs but I love this game.. Get it. Now. Goooo!

I have both games. HOWEVER, you need to know that headset support in BL1 royally SUCKS. By SUCKS, I mean you can't hear chatter from your friends playing the game.

Really? I never noticed on Xbox. I think we always used party chat. Blah. Oh well, not like anyone is used to me saying anything anyway lol
 
Ok, July is gone and it's now August. Are the turtles going to get back into organized racing like before? I've just been running a SuperGT series waiting for the Turtle league to back in action (especially Flex).

I think we're all thinking same thing cueball. I figured we'd have something by now. I guess MBOBB or Martin will let us know since psycho is still not around.
Stick around though cueball we'll come up with some races on our own if need be. We'll do something even if it wrong. But we'll have fun
 
Got my HKS racing controller in the mail today. I can't get it to connect to PS3 :dopey: I looked around for help and it lead me to a thread here. I tried holding down the PS button dozens of times can't get it to sync with console just got the four flashing lights :( That's two online pruchases in a row gone bad for me Guess I learned the hard way:ouch:

When I bought my controller the other day, I plugged it up and just held the ps button in, it started flashing for the charge and worked. That's why I never buy 3 rd party stuff. It's a pia to get it to work right.

You got the same controller? How do you like it? On a high note I've been grinding away at the 650PP NASCAR Challenge/Monza. Got the Chevy Impala '11 down to 712HP/595PP cranking out 2.6M credits in just over 12mins. Don't think I can afford to drop anymore HP. Any advice with this? And if you got a better grind please let me know. Thanks fellas

Depends on your goals. This method may not be "better" but you can do it while you sleep or work or are otherwise occupied. It requires a PS3, secondary PSN account, a computer, Yahoo Widgets, and the B-Spec Grinder Widget. Admittedly, some folks have a sketchy experience getting this to work. Grinding seasonals is more reliable but time intensive. The B-Spec grinder method is subject to random race stoppage if there is a disconnect of any of the above mentioned components. I will say however, that I've run it for over 24hrs straight with no breaks. During my initial phase of using this method my PS3 didn't get turned off for 6 weeks. If I wasn't playing myself, the B-Spec widget was running Bobs. With a second PS3 you can run this concurrently while you play GT5 on your primary.

I used this method last year to get credit capped often enough to buy every car in GT5 between January and July. Haven't used it much in months but it seems since around October last year I've stayed credit capped and have had a hard time spending it down below 17Mil.
