i thought the start options were cool, never seen the option to do side by side rolling starts! is that available in Nascar Only rooms/tracks? (must check my lounge)

I think it's just on the speedway courses. Not sure about Motegi though. Only raced there once.

Did you have more fun than you thought it would be?
Its alot more challenging than most drivers think. Everyone thinks its as easy as driving in a circle, but it is way more difficult than that.
Very fun though.

For me, watching Nascar is not very exciting. But racing it sure is. Racing at those speeds while being so close to one another takes extreme concentration.

Actual NASCAR at Daytona can go 32-34 laps. Here fuel mileage dictates pits and you can get away with right sides only. The track is not very hard on tires irl.

You can make rh tires last about 20 laps in the draft and that is about it. If you wait much longer your asking for trouble.

Well if you manage the throttle on the corners you can save a lot of the tires, I managed to get up to 25/26 laps before putting using RH tires

Thats pretty good.
I've even had the crazy idea to try sports soft to see how many laps I can get out of those.💡

My advice is to go about 75% throttle on the corners. Not only does it save tires but you also can easily keep your driving line

We ran some practice races wednesday night and it worked out great.

School starts up Aug 20th. I need to finalize everything that I'm moving into my off-campus house.
My friends may need help moving in since they are going back early.

that's all we were getting wednesday night as well Martin. with no tuning, hard for me to believe anyone could get 25 laps out of them. but i am clueless about nascars.

yeah, but what kind of lap times are you putting up doing that? can you keep up with the lead pack draft?

Well in practice mode with just myself on the track I was getting around 43-44.0 seconds but when racing with other drivers you can easily keep up with the Pack and if you do fall behind you can easy catch up due to the amount you pit

cool, thanks terminateu97. i have a lot to learn then. i only do 43.5 laps going 100% max all the way around.

are you sure you're not using a tuned car?
