TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

Love watching grand-am but can't get into watching ALMS that much. Too many classes of cars and a lot of times they will show a 6 hour race in two hours.

I did some testing with tire wear and I was able to do 9 laps without pitting, but at a major cost of lap time. (~2:44:00). It would mean only one pit, but at those times, I just don't think it is worth it. I'll see what happens with 2 pits. I think I can probably get around 2:38:00, maybe slightly faster to go 6 laps without pitting.

EDIT: Doing some math, I think if I can run 2:36, and still go 6 laps, then it will be enough to stay competitive with those doing average 2:32.

Johnny_Suede and Xx-Recon-xX please choose your prize for the August 25 Nürburgring GP/F race. Either the 1966 Birthday Ticket or 1967 Birthday Ticket. Thanks!

Is it Bad that I haven't practiced yet? Does it take very many laps to get in a good rhythm with this car?
Didn't take too long to get a fast lap. The more time I put in the better my tire wear became. There are a few spots that can kill your tires and lap time. That tight S curve at the top of the uphill straight in the first section seems to be hit or miss. Brake early there.

hmmmmmmmmmm, and it was my Front tires that wore out quickly :odd:

That's odd. I noticed the wear on my right rear was the worst. My fronts held up just fine. Were you driving in reverse? What lap times are you getting, my fastest to date is a 2:29.033.

Thanks Psycho, look forward to racing.

We have practices on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm Eastern. We almost always have some practices races during practice. We look forward to seeing you on the track! 👍

Im new here so sorry if this is a known question but can we adjust suspension and transmission settings on RM cars?

Step 3: Purchase and break in your car(s) then change the oil. Do not tune them in any way. Races are "Tuning Prohibited" however, the "Tuning Prohibited" filter allows for changing brake balance, torque split, engine limiter, and adding ballast

I don't think so. I got this out off the first post of this thread.

Yeah i read that.... just wasnt sure if it applied to RM cars. At least i can use my well broken in Camaro this weekend and Vette next weekend. My custom settings will be reset to default until further notice. Are people practicing online or off? Ive seen some times posted that i cant even get close too online. Anyone who has room on their friends list can send me a request at PSN- RustyGunzz im putting down some laps now.

We definitely practice online. You can always meet up and practice in Turtle Town. There is no tuning on any car.
