TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

I received a message to check out the Turtle Racing League. My old eyes don't have the stamina to read through the 100 preceding pages, can someone give a quick summary of how I sign up and when we race?

Thanks in advance for helping out an old gearhead-gone-virtual.

Hello
All you have to do is chose a unique car and wheel color and a number that has not been picked. Just read the first page, the driver roster, with all car colors and numbers is about half way down under the race list. Than post your psn ID and we welcome you and send some freind requests, you accept them as freinds and you're set. Just enter the lounges to race or practice whenever you want. We have practices on Wednesday and Friday's at 8pm est in the Turtle Town lounge. Races are on Saturday nights at 10pm est. This weeks race has been postponed due to the holiday weekend but we will still practice tonight at 8pm est in Turtle Town lounge.

Hope to see you on track.👍

Nice looking out Infinital.
Thanks bud:tup:

TX_Executioner showed us the way with his 2:32.xxx lap early in practice while we were putting up 2:35's and 36's and thinking we were hot stuff.

by the end of practice, we had managed to get down to 2:31.xxx's. lap 6 on those tires was fun though!:dopey:

most of the times were from 2:32 - 2:40 for us without spins. It's a challenging track with fresh tires. with worn right rear...:scared:

had a good practice session though. thanks to all who made it.

After 5 dupes, finally got the Ferrari.

Did get two of the Chaparral 2D Race Cars, which I don't have, but wanted to be able to try all the vintage cars for the Ring race later in the schedule.

I am passionate about the jag for some reason..
Anywho..

I did some practice laps in the lounge early yesterday and was able to get down to 2:27.1xx BUT tires were at 10% after lap 3..

It will be interesting to see how it all turns out! The car is a monster!

Should be a great race.

@ Infinital I not sure the 2d race car will be in the line up for the vintage race it is 5 or 6 seconds faster than the ferrari and the jag. I drove that thing the other day and thought the same thing. It is a very nice car to drive and fast also, handles very well.

On another note I got the 69 GT40 the other day have'nt drove it yet keeping my hopes high on that one also.

I know. Right now it's just the Jaguar, The Mark IV, and the Ferrari. I had the other two just not the Ferrari.

I think if you add too many more cars for that race, one car will end up being better than the rest.

I'd like to see a GT500 race one day, but all the different cars (SC430, GT-R, NSX, The Z) have different PP. :/ So we couldn't do a tuning prohibited race.

I did some testing a few months ago with the ferarri, JAG, and Ford. I then threw in the GT40 and it just couldn't keep up. Beautiful car for replays though.

Update: looks like my Friday night just opened up. So I shall be online running some laps. And since there is no race on Saturday Afro and I may be running some F1 races. Feel free to join us. We will be in one of the turtle lounges.

Can the August 25, 2012 Nürburgring GP/F Division Winners DREX81, mc_polo, Johnny_Suede, and Xx-Recon-xX please choose your prize. Either the 1966 Birthday Ticket or 1967 Birthday Ticket. Thanks, and Congratulations!

I flipped a coin and it was heads, going with the 1967 ticket

Damn, tough decision, but I'm going to have to choose the 1966 prize. I'm thriving to get that XJ13.

Since I really want the Jag, can someone tell me how to dupe a ticket or anything. Sorry, I'm a noob at that stuff. Thanks!

Take a flash drive and save your game data from the XMB menu.

Then go into GT5 and redeem that ticket. If you get what you want then your good. If not, quit GT5, restore your save data from your flash drive. You'll load back into GT5 and see you still have that ticket sitting there. Try again.

If you want to 'dupe' a ticket, you need another psn account. You do the same thing, save your game data to a flash drive, go into GT5, send that ticket to your other account. Load GT5 on your other account to make sure you have the ticket. Log back into your main account(the one you sent the ticket from) on the PS3, restore your game data from your flash drive, and then load gt5. You'll see that you still have that ticket and so does your alternate account.

You also get the jag for winning the INDY 500 Endurance.

I thought it was save your "game save" onto a usb, redeem coupon, if you don't get what you want, restore game save from usb, repeat till you get the car you want. "Game data" has all your dlc and update info and stuff. But i'm not in front of my ps3 right now.

Yes that 2D race car would be the rabbit for sure.
I agree that we should do some GT500 races also, that would be fun we might have to drive the same cars though.
Stealth NSX here I come.👍

Or even if we stick with putting two divisions in one lounge (Div 1 & 2 together, and 3 and A together) one division runs a GT500, and the other division runs a GT300

The NSX's are fun, though I prefer the sound of the GTR. Perhaps 1 race with NSX the other with GTR.

this could be a fun enduro too. gt500 (division 1&2) and gt300 (division 3 &A) cars if we could fill up a room. Might be a lot of fun on a track with much passing like Tsukuba (penalties off so no ghosting). :)

we could swap cars for a 2nd race too :) Division 1&2 in gt300, division 3&A in gt500.

obviously i dont know how many are in each division, so it might have to be broken up differently, but i think that could be so much fun with a full room.

and speaking of nascar on Bristol, do we have a short oval in gt5 we could try nascar's on? how short is motegi's oval?
