I had a blast last night. That second race was pretty crazy. The battle for 2nd was intense. It's too bad you guys got tangled up with 2 to go. Now for a stupid question. I saved the replays of both races. Can you send those replays directly to a friend? Or do you need to do the whole video capture thing? Cause I don't have one of those.

My performance in the second race was terrible. My 458 was so sluggish, it's amazing I didn't get lapped down. Turns out, the oil needed changing, and I didn't change it before because I thought I was good for the race. That is my fault, and I deserved that 7th place.

You do not have to do a video capture if your friend intends to view it on a PS3. Otherwise, you would have to. If you have a thumb drive you can put the race on it and then send it to him with yousendit or a comparable service that deals with large files. Your friend would then need to download the file to a thumbdrive and then upload it to his PS3.

The battle did not stop there. After a little cruise (I thought i spun him self out and he thought he spun me. ) We continued with racing for 3rd place for the last two laps along with psycho catching up fast.

How to Join the Turtle Racing League - FLEX Racing Series

Step 1: Post your request to join along with your PSN ID in this thread. Also choose and include a unique (refer to drivers list) car and wheel color combination. You will also need to choose a unique car number for cars with number plates. Colors selection will be on a first come, first served basis.

Step 2: Accept the friend requests you are sent which will include our TURTLE_Town lounge that is to be used for practice, testing, free run, or casual pick up races.

Step 3: Purchase and break in your car(s) then change the oil. Do not tune them in any way. Races are "Tuning Prohibited" however, the "Tuning Prohibited" filter allows for changing brake balance, torque split, engine limiter, and adding ballast.

Step 4: Join the TURTLE_DivisionX Lounge on Friday night at 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific

Race Recap

We welcomed a few new racers this week in FLEX 👍 and had a great turn out filling 13 spots in both races. This was also the first time using 2 completely different cars(same layout but different handling characteristics/acceleration properties) and pitting them against each other in 2 races. These were both very competitive races with only Team-Kracker placing in the same position in both races. TX-Executioner and Psycho-Tuber tied with 50 pts but TX-Executioner took 3rd spot with the fastest lap Tie Breaker Rule. The same applied to Liampage and Friend-29 who both ended up with 48 pts, Liampage however had the fastest lap between the two. Liampage also had the best improvement going from 8th place in race 1 to 2nd place in race 2. Thanks everyone for turning out and welcoming the new racers with a couple of great races.

The Ferrari458 Italia also won the battle of the cars with 8 of 13 fastest lap titles and took the points race with 260 race finish points to the MP4's 256 race finish points.

Turtle Racing League – Formula 1 Racing Series​

Overview

Turtle Racing League is a league for North American Drivers that features weekly Spec Racing using single make untuned cars. The Turtle Racing League - Formula 1 Racing Series will use Ferrari F1 Race Cars exclusively. Race sessions will be Two - 30 Minute Races on Thursday night at 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific. Qualifying for the 1st race will always be "Fastest First". "Reverse grid" will be used for the 2nd race. After every 4 races there will be a 1 Hour F1 Class Enduro with the drivers choice of either the Ferrari F2007 or the F10 '10. We will also announce the next 4 races and change cars from the previous 4 races. This is not a points race series.

Format

• Thursday Night F1 Spec Racing for North American Drivers

• Two - 30 Minute Races starting at 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific

• 15 minutes of qualifying and a 10 minute break between races

• Qualifying will be "Fastest First" 2nd race will be "Reverse Grid"
