Haven't done much racing last few weeks but will try to make it tonight for practice.

1st Place: ABG_Legacy97 (Fast Lap - 1:26.484)
2nd Place: LR_VEGASRACER (Fast Lap - 1:24.700 - Pole) +5.983
3rd Place: FFK13 (Fast Lap - 1:26.903) +6.205
4th Place: RacingOtaku86 (Fast Lap - 1:27.999) +44.052
5th Place: ph1sher (Fast Lap - 1:28.828) +2 laps

Race Recap

Congratulations to ABG_Legacy97 for his win! There were a variety of tire choices used in the race. FFK13, RacingOtaku86, and ABG_Legacy97 all started the race with Racing Hard tires while the rest of the field used Racing Softs. FFK13 and RacingOtaku86 then went with Mediums for their second stints. However, ABG_Legacy97 stuck with Racing Hards for the entire race. LR_VEGASRACER went with a 2 (3) stop strategy with Racing Softs which allowed him to get his extremely fast lap time of 1:24.700. At one point LR_VEGASRACER lead the race by a large margin but cost himself 3 positions due to his poorly timed 3rd pit stop. He managed to get back into the leaders pack on the last lap and squeezed into 2nd Place just .222 in front of FFK13 who finished in 3rd Place. RacingOtaku86 went on to finish in 4th Place with ph1sher a couple of laps back in 5th Place. Great race guys!
 
I know this won't help at all, but I won't be able to race tonight. I say this because lately, not a lot of people have been showing up for races. I know they may be busy and such, but it is what it is. But for me, I'm going to a movie tonight, and racing won't be possible.

those of us in the race know what happened though :sly::lol:
it baffled me the first time I saw him do what he did but when I saw him do it in the race I was astonished that he would give up position like that

Anyone on for practice?

Watching these boys go at it at the moment.

16/27 laps complete and Oshawa-Joe is in the lead with a nice distance between 2nd.

ABG_Legacy97 is not too far behind in 2nd. Slowly closing the gap, which is about 4.9 seconds between him and 1st.

Do I smell a late run?

I woulD have joined y'all but I was busy so I just watched. Also don't want to much on my plate considering I just joined the beginners division.

Was great fun to watch though. Love hearing the sound of those f1 cars!

i'm running in an other F10 champ*.
both of our groups have the same issue (not many people showing up for races)

maybe we could do something like , we all join your race , and you guys join our sunday race?

there ll be another problem i guess the time , i mean we race befor midnight europe time so i don't know if you guys can do it .
what time you running you thursday races?

To those who are hesitant to join F1... don't think twice. Do not be intimidated with the speed f1 cars can bring. As soon as you get the flow of the track then it will be easier. I am a beginner myself and still working on my consistency. I can be fast 1 lap then screw up the next 3 laps.

It is near impossible to catch up with the speed and consistency our div 1 drivers bring but I find it enjoyable to drive these fast go carts!

Give it a try! I hope to see more drivers on track! :cheers:

Here is our schedule. The time would be the biggest problem.
 
need to talk to casnuerburg & Monspanur to see what we can do , but i would love to share our experiences :)

In all honesty... I find F1's easier to drive than the Gallardo we used in Deep Forest! :crazy:
 
Thanks for the invite mbob. In theory I would like to make some of these races. However can someone confirm the race time? I'm an hour ahead of gmt at the moment so if it's a 22:00 eastern US time start that's the middle of the night for me. We have just had a baby girl so when I'm awake at 3 in the morning it is to change nappies :(

If I've misread the start times then I might be able to make some races. I know some of your other events run at different times butt I'm not sure they're open to foreign jonnies yet

I've got a 80mb connection with low ping results.

May I request a helmet change? I would like to change from the Brown helmet to the Warp Drive-07 helmet, which is a black and white patterned helmet with a white-silver color patch on top of the helmet. Thank you.
