If all the good teams keep losing, can they really be called good teams? So, when are England facing any good teams in this tournament?
Both have to score 2 to catch up to Ronaldo and Schick in the lead with 5.The tournament's three surviving top scorers face each other in the semi-finals - Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling agains Kasper Dolberg...
Yep - hence "surviving". Though at least one of them has two more games to do it!Both have to score 2 to catch up to Ronaldo and Schick in the lead with 5.
Yep, merely just adding some relevant information to the stat 👍Yep - hence "surviving". Though at least one of them has two more games to do it!
Top scorers are in the first post 😁 Though I've cut it off at 3.Yep, merely just adding some relevant information to the stat 👍
England is a very good team and a prime candidate for the title but that doesn’t invalidate the fact that Ukraine is maybe the worst team in the KOs and that what was said about the left/right side of the bracket is being shown true. Winner of England/Germany would have had an easier route to the final.England looked shaky at times against Ukraine in the first half. In the second half Ukraine looked like a different team, for the worse. From getting really close to equalize in the first half, to quickly concede 3 goals in the second, it's just bad. England will concede against a better attacking team eventually, maybe in the final. Funny how most people considered England's GK their weakest position, and yet he has been immaculate so far.
I don't see Spain beat Italy. They have been too inconsistent. The final will probably be Italy vs England, and that would be the real test for both. Now, it all depends on which Italy shows up, the one who played against Austria or the one who played against Belgium.
And now only England will have the home turf advantage. Maybe that will tip the scale in their favour. All four semi-finalists played all three group games at home.
I don't know why I thought that would link to the Germany match.
Extraordinary that Spain have only won once in six games in 90 minutes. Every knockout game has gone to extra time, so if they reach the final they'll have already played seven games' worth of minutes.I've been saying all along, Morata is a natural born goalscorer..
Both teams have been very good tonight... Denmark will have their work cut out for them in the final.😋
