Put me on unlikely, too. No mode of transport, and i'm unlikely to be allowed to go until i'm 16 (and therefore out of school). Since i'm still a week away from being 15, not likely for another year.

Well, if that was the end of it then i'd be OK :P

It's just my parents, understandably, judge it on a level of "don't do it!" similar to me sitting down to a breakfast of poison ivy. No offence intended ;)

Anyway, i'll see what i can do, but it's unlikely, sadly.

Tell your parents that you want to go just so you can see how you don't want to grow up to be like. Show them the pix from the last event of a group of grown up men (mostly) stood/sat around playing computer games all weekend. :sly:

Bring the lady. I promise not to pull her while you're racing.
Okay, I promise I'll try not to.
Ahh, hell, bring her anyway.

Well as long as the "getting there" part can be sorted then im in.

Don't think they'd believe me, somehow :P

Count me in. The only date I might not be able to do is the 14th.

G.T: If you don't mind getting the train, you could meet me at Fleet - it's on the same line, so (probably) no changes - and I'll take you. Ashley, I could come trough High Wycome on my way up - it's not far from the route I took last time.

Of course, 3 or us in my car might be a bit of a squeeze with all the electrical bits. And it's a 2 1/2 hour drive from my house. And one of you will have to be in the back. But it could be done.

Edit: Assuming it's at Newark, of course.

Dad will most probably be driving me there if anything. I've never used a train before, and wouldn't want to go all that distance on my very first go. :nervous:

Plus, I doubt parents would be confident enough on letting me out on my own like that yet anyway...

Count me in peeps!

Jon, i would like to pick you up on the way through but unfortunately im still without wheels and my saving for a motorbike is going badly! Im pretty sure you wouldnt want to ride pillion for hundreds of miles on a super moto either! Its the train for me again unless anybody wants to drive me up from not so sunny kent!

As per last event i can bring...

1x DFP
1X PS2 (networkable)
2x Controllers
2x GT4
1X Memory Card
2x 4 plug extension leads
1x Headphones (held together fashionably with rivets still!)

As for your blooming speakers famine, bring them again and im going to tape them to your head so you can feel our pain this time :)

Looking forward to this one, better dust of the old DFP and copy of GT4

Spec....

Nah, don't worry about it. I've never been on a bike before (unless that bike had pedals...) and i definately wouldn't want to go all that far on my first try...

👍 Muchos appreciated. As long as it isnt too much troulbe!

You blasted Brits!! Having all your fun on the other side of the ocean!!!! :sly:

Have a great time guys. I really do wish I could join you...I'd get owned for free though. :dunce:

I know the UK's small, but it isn't that small!

Oh ok. Well I can't afford a plane ticked AND a hotel. Not at the way that dollars compare to pounds these days.

Well, I meant that I have to travel to get to Newark - and this time I might have to get a hotel too... Brrrr. Staying at my place would still take you a little while to get to the venue... :D

Wouldn't have offered if it was. Might be worth checking with the parents though.

Excellent. Parents would be fine with it. Heck they let me move halfway up the country alone! But il check with them anyway.

Alll needs sorting now is accomodation!

And the date.

As no one else has expressed a preference, I vote for the last weekend in October (28th-29th), so that Mars can make it.

And where it is.

Its just a pity my parents sold their caravan, (although a coupe towing a caravan is not a good look!)

I also vote the last weekend.

Everyone could buy tents and then change the name to GTFestival

You know, thats not a half bad idea..then we could camp and sing camping songs and eat burnt marshmallows on sticks!
