Ah Kikie your back! What have you been up to dude?
Not much. Just dreaming about buying a Porsche 997 GT3 RS.

theres only one image that will haunt me eternally from this ukgtp, and its currently your avatar DD!!!
I keep going back and looking a Spec's pic and laughing til i want to pee!!

Actually i just thought of another image. Bret's bowling technique!!

Hey i just found a pic of Famine that i forgot to post. Through out the weekend he would do this funny little whistle thing which would then give the bird.

As you can also see, the ammenities at the hotel were also very poor :ouch:

No, that's not famine. that's the Stig in his free time. hence his strange taste for music.

And you forgot to say that my pitstop strategy got touring mars in second place without having to pass anyone on the track ;)

I don't mean to be a hardass, but I think it was G.T who gave me the controller after pitting on lap 48 and Sureshot saying something like "You have some catching up to do" :P

Yeah, that's what happened... My tires were way too worn to to anything more, so pitting would have saved me spinning out/understeering off the track, to cause more damage than pitting...

At least I'm impressed with the a 1.21.39(something) I achieved on my last stint!

Apologies. I was driving that stint so wasn't really paying attention to drivers.

Mind you, I did think to myself that it was a bit strange -Diego- was so easy to pass...

[/Smacktalk]

Surely you could only give out the [smacktalk] if you had actually won the enduro....?

And being closed up on by a second a lap...

*coughs* FASTEST LAP *coughs*

We were just taking it easy, and conserving our lead. There are no points for fastest lap.

EDIT: And who was the only person that got to practise the car/track combo beforehand? :dopey:

mutual Pwnage!

To be honest, I'm surprised I was "one of the best drivers of the weekend"... I mean, I'm surprised in general. I thought I'd suck much more...

Oh well, it pays to have only one PS2 game... three if you count Prologue and TT

B-Spec Bob.

And he still got a quicker lap... :D

(actually, that's true - Pestilence was quicker in the TVR Cerbera Speed 12 in 3 laps than I was. I had to run 8 laps to beat him. By 0.2s)

Excellent write-up, as per usual...!

Indeed, I reckon DustDriver's pitstop strategy was the reason we finished 2nd rather than 4th in the enduro 👍 Remarkably smooth driving in order to get 12 laps out of those tyres!

I also think Race Idiot was unlucky to be ranked so low in the first handicap. A closer look the results tells a different story to the final rankings. RI managed to win more races than anyone (6) yet only finished 8th overall...

Though he did arrive 2 hours late... :D

Along with spanking my licence times with the G25, I've been recalculating the handicap formats to be more in line with the Classics race and I think they'll be much better (and shorter) in future.

It has to be said that the amount of time and effort you must have put in to working out what cars to use in the handicap races is nothing short of amazing. I also have to say that the prospect of you being even quicker now you've got this new-fangled wheel is decidely worrying... :nervous:

I've got to start using the wheel too, i'm sure using auto is more of a hinderance than a benefit.
