My dream car is the Audi R8 V8.
Audi-R8_2013_photo_01.jpg

It's got the best sounding engine in the range, the sweetest handling, usable practicality, great build quality, really exploitable performance and the option of their superb S-Tronic DCT.

Having had a taster of what the pre-facelifted model is like when I drove one last year, I'd would love to own the newest one.

Maybe if I had another garage, I would slip one of those :P. Because Audi's are absolute beautiful c:

Hence my username, I've always wanted white stock 1969-1972 Mustang (without any strips, markings or trim liveries) but with a modern NASCAR engine in it, reinforced suspension and of course, 4-speed manual. :embarrassed:

A few members here might know how much I like the Alfa Romeo 4C.

I love this portable rocket so much I swear to everything that I'd buy it if I only had the money.

This, though, is not my dream car. I mean... it is, but there are things that I desire even more.

Yes, it's the McLaren F1 '94.

1996:
"Here, take this!" - my grandpa (may the man rest in peace :)) said, handing over a huge-butt car catalogue with legnthy car descriptions. As a four-year-old starting to show interest in cars, I grabbed it, thanked my grandpa politely and went to the other room to look at what'd been going on in the car industry.

I was looking through the pages, sometimes stopping to look at cars that had more sporty design. Woow, that's a nice Ferrari 550! Oh, cool, an Aston Martin DB7! ERMAGERD Ferrari F50!

This catalogue also helped me hugely with recognizing normal road cars ;)

And suddenly, I stumbled upon what I to this day consider the ultimate supercar and the most amazing machine ever created.

McLaren F1.

I still remember exactly what was going on in my head when I saw it in the catalogue, with its pictures spread over 5 pages. I was stunned by its menacing look, and even more so by its specs (yeah, I was starting to understand what BHP or acceleration means ). 386 kph! Over 600 BHP! Accelerates 0-100 (0-60) in just 3.2 secs!!! I'd stare at it for hours, and would read what the catalogue said about it non-stop (my reading skills were amazing back then :sly: ...not so much with comprehending an advnaced text though ). This is also when I decided that cars are my thing. Almost as if I said to myself like "hobby found!" :D

The F1 also made me the car freak that I am to this day, too.

Even now, as a 22-year-old, I'll hold my breath when think about this beast of a car.

Quite unfortunately, I've yet to see one in real life. I was close to seeing one once upon a time, there was an auction on the Internet claiming that one of those is for sale in Poland. Its apparent owner wouldn't answer my calls, though.

So... yeah. I think this is my #1 dream to even see one of these monsters 👍

Oh my, I cannot choose, I just have so many dream cars. LFA, R32 GT-R, FD RX-7, 350Z, F40, 458 Italia, 997 Turbo S, 997 GT3 RS, Carrera GT, Viper GTS, C4 Corvette, etc. But those are of course, literally impossible for me to acquire. :(

A realistic dream car that is somewhat attainable would be,

^Exactly like this. Black. Stock wheels. Stock exhausts. It's just beautiful.
(yes I know, it's a GT5 pic, I can't find one from the internet that I like.)

And if I've got some extra money, I'll get the Switzer Ultimate Street Edition upgrade and bump it up to 1000 horsepower. Still, keeping everything on the exterior stock, as mentioned above.

Sleeper GT-R that destroys anything on the road. :mischievous:

My dream car is the Lister Storm. It's a homologation road car of the race car. It was a new Lister. The race version had the same success as the old 50's and 60's Listers. To think that this car came from an almost dormant company at the time was mad!
It had a custom-built by Jaguar 6.9 L 24 Valve SOHC Naturally-Aspirated V12. It was the largest V12 ever fitted to a production car at the time. It was also the fastest 4-seater car at the time, at 208 mph. Power was 546 HP and 580 lb/ft of torque. It had a double-wishbone suspension.
Of the 4 built, 3 survive today.

I know someone with a TT 600 WHP NSX that looks a lot like that, just a little better IMO but in red. I prefer Black but this car is absolutely perfect. Only pic I could find right now

Cizeta V16T, hands down. Exactly the kind of car I love - built purely because they could, with no thought of records, sales or lap times. Essentially a musical instrument with a steering wheel, for me nothing else with pistons sounds as good as the V16T. Like an aural fusion of an old school V8 and an Italian V12. Pure pleasure machine.

Not to mention the company's amazing history.
