Best episode of the season. Not better than Botswana though. Did james snap? He had that look in his eye while carrying around that machete.

I'm pretty sure he did. Your facing your phobia in the face and getting punted from the back while being only a few feet away from a HUUUGEE drop would totally make me 🤬 scared.
In the final episode of the series, Jeremy Clarkson makes a film about the BMW X6 and ends up conducting one of the most expensive road tests in Top Gear history. James May drives the new Vauxhall Insignia VXR, accompanied by Margaret Calvert, the designer of Britain's road signs; and Richard Hammond tests the 340,000 pound Lexus supercar on the Top Gear track.
The boys then try out the latest in electric personal transport in the studio, and the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is blues musician Seasick Steve.
I somehow managed to miss the last episode, but fortunately it was repeated on BBC2 last night (or was it not shown in Scotland before? That is always a possibility!).
Anyway, compared to the rest of the series, I really enjoyed it. The Bolivia special was good too, though, but atleast this episode was a bit less contrived and a bit more about the cars. Good stuff, and I can only hope that the next series is something to look forward to.
metro.co.ukTop Gear's The Stig seen by Loch Ness on Google Street View
BBC Top Gear's enigmatic racing car driver The Stig mysteriously appeared on Google's Street View, standing by the side of a road at Loch Ness.
Perhaps the monstrously famous petrol head was hoping to catch a glimpse of the loch's elusive beastie.
Or maybe his car had broken down and he was hitching a lift.
The helmeted figure was spotted by Michael Booth, 36, of Middlesbrough.
He said: 'He didn't have his helmet off, or one Loch Ness mystery might have been solved.'
The true identity of the BBC show's test-track demon has never been confirmed. Some people even think there has been more than on Stig, with Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill often rumoured to have donned the white suit and helmet.
The lakeside sighting above is thought to be a stunt for a Where's Stig? book.
I think >300000 quid would put everyone off from buying one!![]()
Actually, there is no reason whatsoever Lexus should not put this sort of pricetag on the LF-A. The pricetag on a Pagani Zonda roadster is around 300,000 pounds as well and if you take a look at the power lap board on the Top Gear website, the LF-A lapped the track a full second quicker than the Zonda whilst doing that in the wet. I just find the price another stupid thing for people to put Lexus down while in fact they have done a brilliant job on that supercar. Just look where the LF-A is on the power lap board with that wet lap. You don't buy a supercar because you want to keep your budget as tight as possible. You buy a supercar because you have more money than brains and you don't have anything better to do anyway. A spaceship looking 550bhp V10 supercar is amongst those exact things these people are looking for. I just find it funny how people bash the price of this car just because it's so expensive.
