Because its Shark Week and I'm glad it wasn't on. The show is so annoying to watch, if I want to know about cars I'll pick up Road & Track, not listen to some European run his mouth about how bad American cars are.

you guys need to learn to recognise when something is said tongue in cheek. jeez :dunce:

That was one of the best TG episodes ive seen this year!!
James was soo funny calling JC and RH hooligans while they were throwing up mud in their buggies.
I got the feeling that JC and Mark Webber didnt really get on too well....
And at the end where JC said ''and on that bumshell its time to end the show''

Yes, most def. the best episode for a while. Loved it :P
It was good, definately the funniest episode I've seen.

"I'd give the rest of this year's salary to see that thing sink."

I knew it was on yesterday, still missed it though. Thats an episode I'll have to download.

Yep, it's on the BBC which you pay you're TV license for and it's available for all the view or record free of charge once the license has been paid. Downloading the Revved up dvd on the other hand is a very different matter.

They had some D1 drifters this week seeing if the now discontinued VXR Monaro still had its driftability.

It was great to see the Monaro VXR getting a showing and still driving well but I still don't like how they've kinda detached from the sleeper look. And to get the drifters over was brilliant even when they still called them powersliders. And no offence meant, but it was hillarious watching the guy trying to explain to Hammond what to do

May did the absolute rediculous, though I thought it would sound better than it did :irked: But heck, he tried.

Ahh, the F150 Lightning. I think JC made some good reason why it doesn't sell over here and I don't like the look either.

Hammond doing the bull run was great, but I thought it was a poor way to end the series. (But the wheels were hot on the Lambo)

Oh well, another series gone :(

P.S If you voted for don't stop me now I'll kill you.

I voted for Don't Stop Me Now :P

Please please please, someone tell me that Top Gear is on tonight or tomorrow! I can't find it listed anywhere :(

Assletics is on. I'll look it up on Sky this evening.

Great episode.... shame it's the last in the series! I don't know about anyone else, but I missed the start of that documentary on 'Hiroshima' last night because I had to have a bash at drifting after that episode of Top Gear... those guys were amazing... Hammond wasn't too shabby either, for a drifting noob...

P.S. Once again The Stig seems to have raided my music collection - he was listening to 'Dancing With The Moonlit Knight' by Genesis (from 'Selling England By The Pound') which is a great song IMO, although they didn't like it much... :ill:

I wasnt really bothered which song won. Personally i would have voted for James engine version of the Top Gear theme tune :P if Motorhead were there, then i would of voted.
JC said that the Ford pickup's handling was terrible but in GT4 its quite good.

Why did the guy talk over the theme tune at the end? :( Seriously for the amount of effort it should have sounded better! After about 10secs it just got hilariously funny!

Do any of you think the stuff was really stolen out of the back of the F150 or it was setup?

Oh yea :lol: that was funny. Why would anyone want to steal firelighter cubes anyway??? I dont think theres any yobs in that small town so it probally was a setup.

It was a setup, he was making a point about how easy it is to get stuff nicked out the back of a pickup.

The last episode should have been better than that. One major dissapointment was that Queen won, I was really hoping for Golden Earring's Radar Love. Also, Jeremy reviewed the Lightning, which is a small part of F-150 sales. The current F-150 has updated looks and like the previous can be had with four wheel drive.

He he... so Steppenwolf did Radar Love as well? :sly: I didn't vote, but Deep Purple would have got mine if I wasn't so miserly...

I just watched the repeat and this time nobody spoke over the exhaust tune at the end of the show... it still sounded a bit lame, but atleast you could hear it!!...

:ouch:

I would have wished for some Hendrix song to be on the list.

:ouch:

I would have wished for some Hendrix song to be on the list.

Ironically, Hendrix did a song called 'Easy Rider' (recently used in that HSBC advert where the bloke does the 'OK' sign in Brazil, where it means something totally different)... and Steppenwolf's 'Born To Be Wild' is from the film 'Easy Rider'... weird or what? Well, maybe not... :sly:
