Sorry if its already in this thread but i only had a quick browse, - how did JC manage two slip the discs in his back?

That sucks so much in so many ways. Time Warner Cable only gets BBC America and they don't play it.

This sucks. :*(
Here in Brazil BBC broadcasts a half-hour show only, but thank God for internet. :D

And about JC, I don't think it was a specific car. He just said something like "I was powersliding too much" if I remember correctly.

Just for a few months, he should be gettting okay by now, but a lot of the driving scenes for the next series will have already been filmed. We probably won't see any of JC driving until the end of the season.

Oh well at least he's getting better!

I've got a feeling we might see a test drive or two with Sabine at the wheel. I don't think they brought her all the way over just for 2 mins in the studio. I think they'll have done a couple of features with her involved, most likely driving with the talent she has.

Powersliding a car i think. I forget which one.
I think he said the Monaro. He'd done the longest powerslide ever and his back broke he said.

His disk just slipped while he was powersliding the Monaro, it wasn't that drift alone that did it, it was over a period of time and then it was drifting the Monaro that finnished it off.

I've got some info from the latest TopGear mag about stuff in the new series of TopGear, theres some series spoilers in here for anyone that would rather not know whats coming up, but if you want to know, read on.

Next series of TopGear will feature.....

Ferrari 430, Pagani Zonda and Ford GT, which is the greatest supercar of today.
Remote control cars, not diddy toy cars but real cars, that are remote controleld.
Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Porsche 911 and BMW M6 tested on the Isle of Man.
Mazda MX-5 v Greyhound.
RS4 v rockclimber.
Will Hammond survive being put in a special freezing chamber with only a Citoren C1 for company.
A supercar for less than 10 grand.
Gran Turismo NSX v real NSX.
And heres the big one, Bugatti Veyron v a plane, not a commercial plane like last time a small plane being flown by May, this I'm looking forward to.

Wow, that sounds like a great line up, I can't wait.

Top Gear is the one and only, when it comes to cars and other petrol indused fun. I watch anything i can that features cars or other forms of vehicle joy, but TG has to be the best IMO.

Homosexuals stop you watching the TV?

Modern science HAS PROVEN that homosexuals inhibit one's ability to watch the television. *rolls eyes*

Pay no heed to him Famine, InfinitiG35Kid has already proven himself to be a complete dunce.

Bugatti Veyron vs. Plane. That is an EPIC battle!!
But flat out the Veyron does 2MPG. So it would be a lot of stopping.

I got a race, why don't they race around the UK. Like close to its edges forward. And then turn around and go back around the edges the other dirrecton.

And insted in a Veyron, do it is the new Sagaris. Or even the TVR Typhon. British transport V British Car.

They really love the Isle of Man. Does it have areas of derestricted roads or something?

A supercar for less than £10K eh? What's that then? An old Lotus, Porsche?

[edit] Should have looked on the Top Gear site

Three go mad on the Isle of Man
Welcome to one of the most exciting tests of 2005. From Britain, the stunning new Aston Martin V8 Vantage. From Germany, the timeless Porsche 911. And from another part of Germany, the upsettingly puce BMW M6.

To test this threesome, our boys needed somewhere that provided both speed limit-free roads and a decent cup of tea. That'll be the Isle of Man, then. In sodden Manx weather, the scene was set for a shootout that's got the lot: Arguments! Intrigue! The Stig! And some handy tips about fishing.

Yeah the Isle of Man has no speed limits exept in built up areas, you can still get done for dangerous driving, it's not like a big road network of free for alls, but you can get away with driving pretty damn fast. I'll tell you that from experience. I'm interested what they come up with in the 10k supercar part too, I can think of a good few possibilities but I'd like to see whats the best they can come up with.

Seeing as Jeremy had a slipped disk I was hoping we would get to have that german woman on the show but I dont think its gonna happen sadly.

The TVR wouldnt be comfortable for jeremy and his disk slip. And to be honest I dont think a high revving hard tuned car like the TVR would make it across countries trouble free.

The Veyron is the right choice for the race, it'd be nice and all seeing the Typhon in an extended issue but it would only get slated with it being a proper sportscar for not being comfortable enough, the Veyron is almost a super GT rather than supercar considering the levels of comfort it offers.

Would the Enzo or Zonda or SLR do any better? There's gonna be a lot of stops if you're going flat-out in any car.

Will he be going flat out much though, I doubt it very much. I can't wait to see the power lap for it though.

I think the Veyron is not a good choice, it will need to refill up a lot. Plus its as wide as his Ford GT, so he could have problems getting through some places. Also when it goes at safe speed, then it still has a worst MPG then the SLR, DB9 and 612.

I think it's the perfect choice, it's the pinnacle or auto development in terms of road cars. It's a test of the car remember, the race part of it is only really for our enjoyment as viewers. The main thing with these tests is to test the car, if it loses because it has to fill up too often, so be it, thats all part of the test.

Only 1 more day to go till Top Gear is back on. The only other car from a British car company. I would like to see in a race is the Aston Martin AMV8.
