Just wanted to let you all know that I saw the thread and looked into some stuff.
The link to the "un-official top gear" thread was helpfull.
In fact, I merged the 2 threads into this single thread, which is now placed in TV & Movies forum- After all, this is a TV show we are talking about.
Thought you all would like to know about the merger.
Also, if you find anyone looking for the old top gear thread just tell them to come over here.

Well thatw as a turn up for the books! I think he might get a F430 as he has had Ferraris in teh past and likes their 'soul'. But I doubt he'll get a AMV8. It'll be the boxster/911 thing all over again.

If you've ever seen the out-takes of the supercar supertest, you'll see that the XJR-15 is SO bad (and it is), that Clarkson manages to crash his into the camera car. While both are driving in a straight line down a straight runway.

I felt the SLR -v- Boat thing was way over stretched... Yeah it was good but it still took up too much time.
Also I did notice with the boat race that when they were in teh racing boat there was land on their right hand side, and when compared to the progress map they showed there shouldn't have been...
DBR9 sounded amazing

Well then they didn't have to do 1000 miles...
I just felt that spending, I think it was, the first 20-25 mins on it, then the last 15 was too much.
And tehy way it ended was abit anti-climax but that was just miusfortune. Even more was that it wasn't a car they hadn't reviwed before., and they didn't test drive the DBR9 or DBRS9. I just think it would have been good for them to comment on a fully blown professonal race car's handling and power etc.
