Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

yeah as of yesterday. Go download from the update for uncharted, but you have to do a new game to get the trophies, they dont carry over

Thanks for that, Halestor and the confirmation, Foolkiller.

Here is a classic example as to why trophies benefit the developers and the console manufacturer. This thread was basically dead, and was only posted in every once in a while when someone on these forums bought the game. But, Its revived now, and Im sure most of us will go back and replay the game, thus, making the game last a lot longer.

Or you are like me, got the game over a month ago and have been holding off for the trophies (That and I played through the entire MGS series in that time frame).

lol, i just got the game a week ago, and beat it on hard, medium, and easy, almost beat the last difficulty i forgot what it was called lol, and now i have to do it all over again! O and a little glitch for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok you know how it says charted! - Medium? well, save the game just before the "Showdown" in 3 different spots, Go to the main menu, go to options, click on the game option and change the difficulty, say to hard, even though, say you beat it on easy, youll get the charted! - hard trophy! I just figured that out today, i was getting bored so i wanted to see if i could beat the showdown boss on hard again, and i was playing the game on easy, lol i apparently beat the game on hard lol!

I've been playing it again, certainly forgot how amazing the music is. That is probably one of my favorite parts of the game, it's just so well done.

I own a lot of games, lol.

I'm sure you could catch up, especially when more titles start releasing. I'll probably be playing R2 like no ones business, so you'll have a lot of time to rent / buy lots of games and catch up, lol. I'm not THAT far ahead though :P

Well I will probably buy PJ Eden. but still, I dont have the dedication to get every last trophy. At least not for most games. With Uncharted though, I had 380 medal points or whatever, but I had to start a new game entirely to get the trophies. Since Ive played through the game so many times, Im pretty sure that I can get most of the trophies.

Yea, the Uncharted trophies aren't too hard, save the Crushing trophy.

Eden though, jesus what a chore! I'm not really playing the game for trophies, since that just kinda "comes" but man, I looked at some of the trophies, and they are intense. 100K pollen and NO WASTED POLLEN? Those trophies...Jeremy Ricci will not get.

Just took a break from Uncharted, probably will play more tonight.

Well I know that he has every game that has trophy support. Or do you mean every game?!
Let me put it this way: I have yet to have a discussion regarding a game on this site that he couldn't jump in on.

I have a Gamefly subscription so I do expect to start rolling in trophies in the next year or so just be default.

Oh, and PAIN trophies will likely be to my benefit.

SHUT UP WITH YOU AND YOUR STUPID PAIN! :grumpy:

...I'm STILL trying that stupid Bikini Girl trophy :(

Yeah I really hate the trophies that just seem too impossible or too farfetched. I mean I think that the trophies should be challenging, but at the same time, obtainable.

And I bought pain, and while its okay, it seems like you have to pay for soo much more stuff, the actual game doesnt come with much to do.

It's all I got, man. Every other game has me in the middle of my Friend's List rankings. I have to brag on something.

You Tube is your friend.

Besides, I am sure once they roll out the online multiplayer I will get humbled.

EDIT:

Read my stuff in the PAIN thread. There is plenty to do. And if I recall the only paid for DLC is characters.

I bought Uncharted the other week, before the platinum version came out with the ruined boxart.

I'm really liking it. It's very fun and looks amazing. :)

what a game! I bought my platinum copy and finish it in 9 hours. It was like a watching a great movie. plus I got my first trophies :)
I hope we'll see uncharted 2 next year.

Is it possible to play this game without motion controls? I'd love to rent this game but I'm using a DS2 because my Sixaxis broke.

Yeah it is. You use the motion controls for balancing on a few things, but honestly, if you run fast enough, you make it without actually having to balance at all. Also, you can use the motion controls for adjusting the distance/arc of grenades, but that function can be turned off. Definitely give it shot, its one of the better games out for the PS3.

So does this game have TROPHIES? I was thinking of Playing this game again for the second time around and Try to collect every artifacts. *goes off to a online walk through*

Yes the trophies were released for it a few weeks ago. Most of them arent very difficult, so its a good way to rack up some trophies.

lol, I really need to play more Uncharted and snag my platinum trophy...but Resistance 2 simply won't let me do it. I'll always have it though, so ONE DAY I will have that platinum trophy.

I keep saying that too. Uncharted looks to be the easiest platinum out there.

But I saw yesterday that PS3fanboy is looking for a trophy guide to PAIN, and they pay in PlayStation Network cards. To be eligible to submit it though you have to have 100%. So, back to Pain for me.

I think Burnout is easier, all I have to do is a bunch of online stuff. Ferarri Challenge looks easy but I haven't actually played it so I can't comment. :dopey:
Let me rephrase that: Of the games I own Uncharted looks to be the easiest platinum.

I am not a big fan of Burnout and I still need to rent Ferrari Challenge.

Well, as he knows, ceiling_fan inspired me to go back and finish the game in Crushing mode.... there were a few moments I was tempted to eject the game disc and fire a few rounds into it. :D

I'm glad I fought through the urge to destroy the game and finally finish it, because despite the few frustratingly dificult moments while playing in Crushing mode, the experience reminded me about all the great things I loved about this game. 👍

For those using Home, and are wondering how to get through the locked doors located in Sully's Bar in the Uncharted Home Space and don't want to try and solve the codes on their own, here they are... I'll use a spoiler tag for those that want to try and solve the codes on their own.

The door to the Smuggler's Den is located in the back of the bar across from the arcade systems. While the doors to both the Film Room (left door) and Artifact Room (right door) are upstairs:

Smuggler's Den

Press X when it pops up telling you the Key Pad is available.
Put in 1024. Now you have to turn the dials to the following set of numbers, 1577383.
Now you'll be able to enter.

Film Room

Press X when it pops up telling you the Key Pad is available.
Put in 41675.
Now you'll be able to enter.

Artifact Room

Press X when it pops up telling you the Key Pad is available.
Put in 24312.
Now you'll be able to enter.

Each room has a desk where you will be able to find an Artifact Viewer that will basically let you view various items. No big deal, but something to check out when you are there.

Happy exploring! 👍

Oh, and BTW, there is a semi hidden back patio to the bar area located through the door to the left of where you enter Sully's Bar at.
