So I was told that the Dodge Ram is ungodly fast, and decided to give it a go. Holy crap! It's ridiculous. I managed a 1:25.5 on Trial Mountain on a clean lap earlier, so I since then I have been trolling lobbies full of the Ferraris and tuner junk and generally upsetting people with it.

What are some other inconspicuous obnoxiously fast machines in game that have that kind of potential?

So true. I was doing a race on the Nurbugring and it was the only car keeping up with my RUF. It bothered me on how fast a tuned minivan can be, it made me feel slow.

Even a bad driver should be able to catch the Ram in an Enzo no matter the jump the ram got. The Dodge Ram is quick off the line, but slow in the mid to top range

This car also handles very well which makes up for it's "low horsepower", speaking of Civics the Mugen Motel Civic eighty something is also very quick. 👍

The Dodge SRT4 '03 looks sporty in a way but I probably wouldn't look twice at it on the street...I also wouldn't expect to be able to cram 612hp under the hood either!...Cheap in the UCD.

Fast? Yes. Random? Not so much. It was created to go that fast. Many people aren't likely aware, but this car wasn't technically built by Audi... it was built for them, by quattro GmbH. These guys are literally mad about speed and performance, hence why we have this monster of an estate car. The R8 is built by the same folk. You see, quattro GmbH is to Audi (though privately) what AMG is to Mercedes. Though they seem to have a better handle on it, if I'm honest. Now, if the (equally sized) Samba drove like a RS6... well that would be random


Back on topic, I agree with Coupe on the Mugen Motul... '87 by the way... it's a fun little thing for a 25yo Honda. The newer Fiat 500 was also a surprise, straight line speed is made up for through the corners 👍

I will be posting my tune for the Ram in my thread (Link in the signature) when I feel satisfied that it is as good as it can get. I'm getting close, but I'm not completely there, though a 1:13.5 was turned on Deep Forest Tonight.

I agree on the Nascars. If you can get a handle on them on a road course they're remarkably fast. Now the Odessey? Is that actually fast or is it just one of those that can make immense amounts of horsepower for no apparent reason?

V10 indeed, but its not Lambo's engine. The engine is all new for this car, and is 50 some odd HP stronger, on top of the 100ft-lb's extra torque over the Lambo.

I was in a room with some guy driving a Citroen Xsara VTR (not the rally version) and he was kicking some serious butt against much faster cars on The Ring. It was like he wasn't even braking for most corners. Needless to say that i'm hunting one now.
