Yes, we all want to be able to fast forward replays. Of course we do. And rewind and pause. We all want that. Don't pretend you don't want them.......otherwise why have graphics that are so good if you can't watch them in the replay?????

Who cares.....bug or missing feature it isn't important what you call it. It's something that should be in the game.

It's laziness. 5 years of dev time and you can't rewind the replay!!!

You clearly said they should FIX things before adding new features, but what you're asking for is a new feature and not a fix.

In addition, you can watch the pretty graphics just fine, you just want more control over the replays..

As for "we all" wanting those controls...Sure it would be great to have, but frankly im more interested in features that have to do with the actual racing, then watching myself drive around the track after i just did it.

I know they won't. Too bad for them. Because really, it is absolutely shockingly pathetic that stuff on the back of the box isn't there. Been grinding away getting cars patiently waiting on the day I could attack some Super GT leaderboards. Nope, can't do that. And just to rub salt in the wound, they lower credit payouts, which were miles too freaking low even in their "raised" amounts.

I don't. I would like to enjoy the endurance races in chunks because I don't belong in either of the three following categories:

a) Elitist endurance snob
b) Unemployed bum
c) Kid with too much time and not enough life

Keep in mind that even in chunks 24h is still a lot of time to dedicate to one race in a videogame. So don't give me the bullcrap about lack of dedication, etc. 👎

I see it like this: other games have difficulty levels, this game has race variety, some very easy while others very hard. Not everyone will finish them and it's ok like that. To do an 24h endurance race you need to prepare physically and psychically, need to schedule the event, maybe team up with some friends, or clear out a weekend and do it. I will never be able to do that probably but I have respect for those who will.

I haven't seen the rain track yet. However, the shaders are improved. Previously I was experiencing odd shadow effects on the cars themselves; jagged out of place shadows. Also the shadows are clear on non rain tracks. I do not own an HDTV though and that may make a difference.

Nice update. My favorite, even though small is the ''check'' mark on cars that you already own in dealerships. Once you grow your collection so big, I find it hard to remember if I already have the car I am looking at. Those days are gone.

I don't get the racing b spec with your friends to gain experience.

As my B spec drivers are like 30+ or whatever, for me is it not easier to just to set a 4 hour or 9 hour race going and they gain more experience that way?

Not to my knowledge, but this is a game is it not? It offers easy things and it offers difficult things? Where's the problem? Ideally, one could team up with other gamers to form a real endurance race team and finish it that way, but until that thing happens, I don't think watering it down will make the game better.
It might sell more and thus make more money, and I think PD is aware of this, so kudos to them for their integrity. Endurance races are special, those who finish them are awesome, live with it.

This is a game. A nice distraction to unwind after a hard day's work. Not the other way around.

The word 'respect' gets misused a lot these days. Do something meaningful in real life and you may have earned my respect. Doing something utterly ridiculous in a videogame doesn't count.

Not much for me to say that hasn't been said already. The good and the bad. Great to see the update come and include the number of items it has , but like someone said before 90 percent of this stuff should have been in the game on release. In any case GT5 is getting closer and closer to being a racing game. I LIKES, I LIKES!

GT3 was one of my favourite GT's. Loved that game. Sure there was stuff missing but it was a big leap from PS one to PS2 hardware.

It's not such a big deal to get GT4 tracks into GT5 and get them looking nice. Hell Trail Mountain and Deep Forest are basically direct ports anyway. Graphically they are not on a par with other GT5 tracks.

How about brake upgrades????

I don't see how I am being unrealistic really. There is content missing from the game. I want that content. If I have to pay I might consider it....depends on the price.

Things like being able to save mid championship on in an endurence race????? Fast forward and rewind replays????? It's not that musch to ask really now is it??

I would like these things too. I am, however, happy with the update and willing to wait for more features to be implemented.

Maybe a formed reply would serve you and others who are not satisfied with this patch. This way you could save energy not typing the same things over and over again. Better yet, you guys could all collaborate and use just one reply so as to waste even less time.

This is, of course, assuming that not everyone here already knows what you and others think the game is lacking. Otherwise....

I don't expect respect, I give it.
You see the glass half empty, I see it half full. You expect everything to be easy and convenient enough, since you paid for it, I expect challenge so I can get satisfaction out of it if/when I can do it.
