The way I see it, you two (and the others like you) have a few options to consider.
Stop crying about all the things wrong with the game.
Stop posting your tears about the things wrong with the game.
Stop playing the game if It’s “so bad”.
Or enjoy the game within the part of the game that you find enjoyable.
If for one am not standing next to you with a gun pointed at your head telling you to play this game. I don’t think anyone is standing next to you telling you that. Why the hell do people insist on crying about the game and then insert the GT5 disc if it’s so bad. That is all there is on this forums…. COMPLAINTS. As I said on the previous page, “If it’s not one thing, It’s another”.

a) Elitist endurance snob
b) Unemployed bum
c) Kid with too much time and not enough life

Keep in mind that even in chunks 24h is still a lot of time to dedicate to one race in a videogame. So don't give me the bullcrap about lack of dedication, etc. 👎

Without reading a list like this last night no idea what was fixed, just noticed the lack of the HDD access screen, and the inclusion of new Seasonal and FR/FF/AWD/F1 races...

i agree, shoulda been in there, but PD coulda just left them out. The fact they are supporting and making improvements(granted they should have been there from the start) shows they are kinda listening. There are hundres of thousands of people playing this game, so they can't satisfy them all. It sucks they put out an incomplete game but not all the updates are useless.

Some people still use those other features.

Maybe its just me, but racing online last night against my cousin on Sports Softs the physics seemed a bit different, my Camaro just didn't have as much grip.

I ran another car on race soft tires and this too seemed a bit different. not necessarily bad just took some getting used to, my cousin noticed as well. Anyone else notice Online Physics changing?

Maybe you need some perspective. It's 300mb of content that was missing from the game on release. This in no way constitutes new content or give any reason to praise PD.

I'm saying that the 24 hour endurance races should be just that, an endurance. That completing them should show a special dedication to the races that few people would be able to do.

Perhaps you could point me to where I ever said anything like the above......because I honestly have absolutely no idea where you are getting that from.

I was enjoying all the efforts of people posting updates (thank you)but then as I get to the end this thread gets totally unreadable. I think maybe the planet should had a seperate thread for whining, complaining and flaming.

this way the people who are in the true spirit of the post are not burried by all the...well forget it.

Great update PD hoping to give it a run tonight and I didnt mean to clutter the thread but I guess I did.

People are just discussing new features added or features they wish had been added that were not. I think that should be fair game in a thread about the new update.

You're being a total jackass towards Kaz and PD. Do you have any idea how incredibly RARE it is to see a post-release support like this on a game?

I mean seriously, they have been adding and fixing almost EVERY SINGLE THING people have been asking. It's like they're compiling a check list of everything people have been saying and keep striking them down patch after patch. Sure, not everything, but most of it is already done, and the rest will most likely come in the future as well. Hell, they could have just left the game the way it was, It is what happens with MOST games after all. But no, they've been doing an amazing job, and you're giving them crap for it. And why? Cause you wanted "new" stuff. Guess what? We got new stuff, lots of small but important new stuff.

But I bet you just wanted new cars and tracks. I bet you wanted them for free too...

Well these "updates" weren't in the game from day one, and to be honest with you, I don't care because they are in the game now and I won't ever have to play v1.0 of GT5 ever again. So please reserve your negativity for the other Hobbits.

GT3 was one of my favourite GT's. Loved that game. Sure there was stuff missing but it was a big leap from PS one to PS2 hardware.

It's not such a big deal to get GT4 tracks into GT5 and get them looking nice. Hell Trail Mountain and Deep Forest are basically direct ports anyway. Graphically they are not on a par with other GT5 tracks.

How about brake upgrades????

I don't see how I am being unrealistic really. There is content missing from the game. I want that content. If I have to pay I might consider it....depends on the price.
