And this in particular was great:

Nice car from BMW.

But what about solo endurance races that last more than 24 minutes? We had full time enduro in GT5, why not in GT6? (Sick joke if you ask me.)

Their answer:

We hear you loud and clear. More info to come on this

It starts to get interesting 👍

I just leave a comment in the PSBlog, and they actually answered me. It was... weird jaja.

My comment was this:

Finally. At least it’s something.
Really glad to see the adjustments in the lobby and all that.
You’re being really slow this time PD, but I still have a lot of faith in you. PLEASE, don’t disappoint your fans.
Now give us all of the other promised features, like the track editor (please BE a real track editor, let me judge FOR MYSELF if it’s too complicated. If you give again that excuse, that would be offensive) and give us back some endurance events in GT Career.

Besides that and some other details (like sound in so many cars sadly), I’m waiting for the Senna content :)

See you on track.

PS: It’d be nice to see some answer from time to time to the fans.

Their answer:

We’re right here :) Always listening. Senna content is less than two weeks away. Enjoy the BMW Vision GT for the time being

And some other comments:

1GB download for this and some open lobby features? really? then it installed for like 25 minutes. Really? 6 months and the game is still very bare bones. Totally disappointed in PD. I’d be very careful with your business practices from now on, you’ve fallen from that high pedestal for many of your long-faithful fans. GT6 is the proverbial quick cash-grab.

Their answer:

Unfortunately, game updates are never simple, especially when there are added game features within the update. The team is working hard to release more free content like Senna and additional features as they become available.

This must be what Amar meant by something new that's unheard of in the history of the series........some communication!

The BMW looks awesome. Can't wait to drive it later. How is the handling? Thanks in advance
Id say its definetely a race car and as usual with BMWs its definately a RWD. All this in a good sense. 👍 There is a point of traction loss when powering out of a corner, but if it happens to go over the edge and loses grip its still very recoverable. It feels like a very balanced and light GT3 car (which i think they were aiming for). I personally like it 👍.

just raced it 2 hours online at spa in a BMW VGT only -room last night with only abs available - RS tires though :guilty:. This is my feel based on that..

The handling was pretty fair. I was able to come just 0.712 seconds below bronze on the first lap of the seasonal.

But I would look for other places in single player where the car would be useful. I was able to run GT3 cup with the race variant of the merc VGT

I took gold on first lap, was almost second faster than target time. Yes it's fantastic race car :)

Well no, as soon as I read offline was no improvement over GT5 it was a no buy for me but yeah, got it as a gift. Gave it a try, did a few events and gave some other things a try, put it down after that.

Ah, but think of the amount of time you are able to spend on GTPlanet posting stuff about the game you don't play!

That's the silver lining in the situation for you. You have extra freedom!!

The handling of the VGT is very, very similar to that of the Aussie V8... :) It's well-sorted, RWD, and has enough power to spin the back wheels if you slam the throttle, but you can still drive it that way. The difference is that it doesn't respond well to curbs.

I've tuned my black one to a more "street spec" a like. softer suspension, sports soft tires, a bit less grip. It's wild.

What's interesting regarding the patch itself, is not how big it is but how long it takes to install... If you need to modify lots of files, then it will take quite some time.

Lots of files....like ~1200 files :) Something to each and every car was updated/changed?
