Bug Confirmed, BMW M3 GT '10 and '11 will flash
the light ( road are lit but not the headlamp itself ) when
braking on daylight in Spa Weather Change.

Then I heard about this update 1.07 and I updated it up to where the PS3 installs it, not in game. Unfortunately, I had to sleep so I turned it off AFTER I installed it from the PS3. The next day I opened it up, didn't have to install it again in the PS3 but not in game. It starts off by saying 140 minutes left or 150 minutes then it loads to about 10% and it says 40 minutes left and it stops loading from there and I had to restart my PS3 again and same thing happened. Can someone please help me with this problem? I rarely have anything installed on my PS3, its like brand new

Thank you

I've had that same problem installing 1.07 too. I've tried deleting all of GT6's game files, but to absolutely no avail. I'm at the point of despair with this game.

Just let it go. The progress bar seems to be bugged, or at least inaccurate. Took about 45 minutes for it to install for me. Time to completion jumped all around, as did the progress bar. Just start it, and walk away. It will finish when it finishes. The more you restart, or force reset the console, the more you run the risk of corrupting your data. Just be patient.

I have a friend who is being convinced (brainwashed by me) to get on the Gran Turismo train.

If he was to buy GT6, would it be possible to go straight from Version 1.00 to 1.07 without doing all the other updates: 1.01,1.02 etc...?

There is one cumulative update what skips approx 1gb of duplicate update downloading, so its not downloading all earlier updates, but still huge amount to download.

Is the the fps better than before? Or just placebo effect?
ok - i replied just to see 3 finnish guys comment after each other..:P:tup:

no really - fps has had comments to both better and worse after 1.07. Im wondering if these things come together. Smoke improved thus 1 less car in a pack to optimize fps?

No reverting to specific version is possible. Once update is running ,you'll get updated from 1.00 to 1.07 or any never version.

Actually , WRS qualifier requires you to have latest version (at the time of time trial) installed ,so 1.07 is a way to go at the moment :D

So is it worth risking it? I have a lot of cars in my garage that I love and it took me a while to beat all the licenses lol

Can someone help me out? I'm just now updating and the in game hotfix is taking an extremely long time... Any remedies? Only time I'll be getting all week to play and I hope this doesn't use all of it.

It's ok buddy, welcome to my world.

How long has the hotifx been going for? 15-25 seems like the average here on GTP. The in game estimate is wrong.

Trying to download the update in game (Not the Black screen 1.13 update), but it says Update failed, and then retries, and I can't cancel it to get in game.

well ****.

My reaction is the same

So I am the stupidest man on Earth, I went to Game Files and removed GT6 and I realized I shouldn't remove it because it sounded like a bad idea and it was already deleting, so I turned off my PS3 while it was deleting. Now i'm installing the update from the PS3, not the game. I believe I screwed up the game.

So when I did my stupid move, the update went from 1.06 (I wanted 1.07) to 1.02... THIS IS WHY MY LIFE IS SAD

Then there was a Server error 503 while doing it

Trying to update to 1.07 (haven't played the game with an internet connection in over 3 months) and I get an error:

"A server error has occured.
(HTTP Status Code: 503)"

Umm....what?

Bad timing man, I've been reading everywhere that the PSN is acting up today where it gives that error when trying to download things from the store and game updates.

So its PSN's fault? Not ours?
'503' is generally a server issue.
You can find it on any game, or even accessing a web server on your PC for that matter.
Normally trying again later is all that's needed.

Switching off the PS3 while files are downloading, installing, or deleting is a different matter.
You'll need to try the patch downloads again.
Test the game offline and check everything seems okay.
If all's good, try the patch downloads again.

Finally did all of the updates today. On mine it went from 130 to 90 to 20 to 30 minutes, then the next time I looked it was finished. Probably took 15 or 20 minutes.

I wish I had your luck. I'm currently rebuilding my PS3's database now, and then I will have to restore its file system.

Mine turned off but luckily it had finished installing. I had changed the source so I could watch some stuff while waiting and it turned off(power cable came out) and I thought it could be messed up but all I had to do after was the hotfix which took 10 mins to complete.

After staying away from the game for a while, I decided to give it another go, however when I tried to install the update, it just crashed and tuned off the PS3. I tried again twice more, same result. Doesn't even start to download, just crashes straightaway. Is this still PSN?
