Bottom line is we cant do anything about it,its a scummy trick PD/Kaz/sony have pulled and we can moan until the cows come home but it is what it is.Its still the same game, broken or otherwise with its faults but it is a great game all the same,we can abandon the game after paying £70.00,or more,or carry on.I like the game so giving up on its not an option for me.
Will the influencers and reviewers voice our disapproval on YT and get a result, maybe get payouts altered, who knows all we can do is wait and see.I cant see PD or Sony reverse there decision,i cant for the life of me see why they took this decision except to push MTs.
Im not trying to start any arguements just putting my opinion out.Enjoy👍

200.000 Credits and a 5-Star Roulette-Ticket and i will forget what happened today. ;-)
nah, homie... that won't cut it.. screw around and that 5-start ticket will get you an invitation you already have (happened to me today) or maybe just 8k credits. God, I hate the roulette system, especially more so now that they have certain parts locked behind it.

I got you. I personaly would have only had time today to get one quick race for the daily ticket in the evening, so for me it would be ok. Others lack a full time of fun. I get it.

Seriously, the way the roulette is presented as being completely random is so scummy. It's so obviously weighted. Just bring back the GT Sport roulette or fix the drop rates on this one or whatever.

just stop giving me invitations I already have, FGS!

Obviously, but not actually. It's determined before you ever see the animation - suggesting that it's a pre-set list just as with GT Sport.

If you happen to be just on the edge of a car collection trophy milestone and pull a ticket which awards you a car, you will get the trophy notification before you see the animation, which clearly shows that the animation itself is a mere formality; the game knows you're getting the car and awards you the PSN trophy, then shows you the animation which results in you getting the car.

If that weren't quite enough evidence, you can also reboot before the ticket result is saved and... pull exactly the same reward (with exactly the same four superfluous items) every time.

This thing is really interesting. I play on all consoles and PC but I hate only PS games. :D Last time it was with TLOU2. It's like the most problematic console to me currently.

I literally bought a used PS4 the day before GT7 dropped because I really wanted to play this game. I've moved on from console gaming altogether like 4 years ago and play exclusively on PC. Man, if SONY was smart they'd have released this game on PC as well.

Not just this game, but they would have developed their own PlayStation Store platform for PC. Console gamers will stick to console, as building a competent PC will always be more expensive, but they would've opened the doors to many who had left Playstation long ago to buy their games on PC as well as new customers who never considered a PlayStation before.

It's how SW systems are done. It's like SW for casinos. Animation is cool but you have results before it starts. You just generate everything before and everything else is UI. I wouldn't say it means anything bad.

As I have just commented in response to another post - WoW is an 'aaS' game. You pay monthly for it and, as such, don't expect everything on release. This is a first party AAA title, as such you have paid for it all up front.

Imagine getting Uncharted 4, playing the first 3 levels and then being told you need to go back and do levels 1-3 another 100 times before you can play level 4...
I was just playing devil's advocate, for the sake of discussion. This isn't an easy problem to solve.

They really need to do something about making the Collector Level meaningful. Some sort of incentive. There's no point other than to show off to your friends and the world that your garage is worth X amount of credits. Like at least make it so once you make it past a certain threshold, then your lowest tickets are like 4 stars, 5 stars, etc. Otherwise, it's just an arbitrary number with no real weight to it.

No bank holiday here but the wife is at work all day and I can't get the bloody thing on. Guaranteed they'll turn the servers back on 2 minutes after she walks through the door and she'll want to watch fu£&*@g bake off or summit
Yeah, my wife had a problem with my gaming habit but I had no problem with her sitcom binging habit. I had my games before I had her and will continue to have them even long after I no longer have her.

Long story short, I got 99 problems and a wife ain't one.

I would drop Playstation if exclusive games wasn't a thing. You have to buy ps plus to play online and games are are generally more expensive than on pc.

I would love it if they dropped exclusive games, but understand why they have them.

They can keep having them exclusively in their online store the same way Epic has, and EA had, exclusives.

That 5-Star ticket will earn you just 5.000 or 10.000 just like all the 1-, 2-, 3-, and even 4-star tickets I got untill now. They flash with gold and cars but always give the lowest prices. Even there PD seems to want you to win the minimum of credits.

At least so it went for me till now ...

Just confirms what I said from the outset and that some are realizing and using the predatory word now. It was clear to me at launch, the payouts and so on so I will continue to avoid the game until it's rectified which will be many months down the line if at all. I'm really saddened just how low Kaz/PD have gone with this so called GT7, it's very exploitative on whales and kids whose parents are not sure what they're buying with the credits. The game is so heavily skewed to push you to paying obscene amounts for very little and will still leave a very bad taste if and when I do buy this game in 6-12 months. I find it all very cynical and appalling from the makers/Sony.

PD turned 2+ years of hype in utter disappointment in just 2 weeks.

They are a fossil of the gaming industry whose only redeeming quality in Sony's eyes is not to make a good game, but to peddle microtransactions.

Absolutely regret buying this game for 80€ and i'm putting it down for the foreseeable future.
I'm at a loss of words for this right now...

I really hope GT Planet does an article on this, as does IGN and other big publications because it appears as though all the "elevated" payouts was purely used to get good reviews and to then swop them out with these low payouts when they got us all to buy it. 😢
