Jesus Christ the Subaru sounds amazing. Its fantastic on high speed circuits too but horrible on low speed circuits. My guess is that because the engine is powering the front and electric motor rear (only front diff adjustable) it under steers horribly. Pure filth on a track like autumn ring

Straight out the box on SS with all aids off hits a 6:50 on the ring. Can't post pic of phone damnit

Community Features Checked off the list just Course Maker to go and no more incomplete game & I believe that's coming in Spec 2.0 in December.

3 min left on instal

Endurance races and better AI are needed along with Course maker. Then, GT6 will be great with only sound and more cars at once in track lacking but i can give it a 9/10 then. Today it takes a 8/10 and until yesterday it took 7/10.

In my opinion, telemetry exporting to Motec analiysis tool is a great addon. Community features are great too. A very nice update!

That is very true on what you've written @Imari. Because I was on the fence thinking "should I or should I not" towards this update. It's cool what PD did with this update, really it is, although I just can't see myself sticking around for too long as you've just mentioned above.

You will be glad when Spec 2 arrives, but I fear you may be hugely dissapointed having invested so much in the course maker and its probably not going to be much other than a fluffed up GT5 version, and if thats what you need to enjoy GT6 (fake tracks) this is probably not going to get you ever wrong game in my eyes.

The Subaru hardly sounds the best. I've heard way better boxer sounds in video games that don't sound as distorted as the Viziv.

Or maybe PD has just set the bar so low for such a long time that even an old car with an added light bar can make everyone go wild. Wow. The brilliance of PD's marketing.

That's nice. Have you been down the backstraight at Bathurst? Looks like you're going to be attacked by giant mutant fly-swatters.
Putting a really demanging game on an 8 year hardware won't make the smoothest experience.
I think you are refering to the shadow flickering. Why not drive at night then? ;)

Can someone please explain to me what this is exactly:
- The "Onboard Mic Position" option has been added to the in-race quick options and the "Sound volume" section of the "Sound" menu.

And, is car gifting back ?

Is this the 'earliest' in a month we've received the monthly update ?

If I get time to play, I just plan on installing some KW coilovers on my M4, tweaking the diff & changing wheels, then trying the updated Suzuka.

Still in love with PD's white 'demo M4' in their pictures :D

I got my Audi R8 white to chek the new replay angles of Suzuka at the sunset...and...I see...Passion! Fan-tas-tic! When my R8 enter the straight...(the words, sometimes, is very limited...)

Ok, nobody cares, we all like the update, and your pesimism ruined it.

Dude me too. I've been testing out all the cars I drive on a regular and its just amazing listening to the update. Still not the best sounds but much much much better than how they were. I think racing exhaust got a huge change, I'm still testing.

I've just installed the semi racing exhaust in my turbocharged Diablo GT, together with the transmission whine, using the mic on cockpit (or cockpit cam) it sounds very very cool o.O

About the onboard Mic Position, Basically there have always been 4 sounds for each view(bumper, hood/roof, interior and exterior) now you can set one of those sounds for all views. For example if you set it to exterior then no matter what view you're in you'll always hear the exterior sound.

Car gifting ? idk bout that

Nice! I'll have a try at that. Btw if you wanna hear something amazing, put the racing exhaust on the Ford GTMark1 and the Mic on exterior....MIND BLOWN.

You can set the sound source independently of the camera position. For example, you can chose to have the hood view sound while driving in interior view. So if there's a certain mic position that you like the best, you can select to have that sound with any driving view.

I have nearly 100 people on my friends list, 6-8 months ago when I'd get online there would be dozens and dozens of them online and playing GT6. Now, maybe three or four at most. Case in point, my PC arrives Friday so that's one less person that will be online with GT6.
You see, you guys aren't the only people who play GT6 to this day, so you have no weight on how pointless or not this feature that was promised for release after the initial GT6 release is.

The sound upgrade is sweet! It's not just stock cars too, the Pre-tuned Scirocco gifted from the Sierra Time Rally is on another level with the aftermarket exhaust. 👍 I haven't tried many other cars yet, but I hope there are more surprises.

Could you show us sound upgrades, please?

I can't capture it directly, so it will be a poor representation. Basically, the same sound files are used but exhaust notes are 'meatier', there is more wind noise on the exterior and interior sounds are muffled.
