Then why come in here and try to find fault in this update and other things that people are mentioning? While I have no control over whether or not you can post or how you do so, just because you're not fond of the game and what it's doing doesn't really mean you should be a grade-a troll.

Slow day at work, needed something to entertain me. :sly:

It seems that the 'larger wheel sizes' didn't come in this update?

Additional customization options will include ... larger wheel sizes ....

Errr... They were always available on most premium cars. I think they meant that the M4 could get larger wheels.

Im just in too good a mood the guys twisted trying to bring this positive wave down are getting drowned out by all the guys having fun.

Sorry, what was that about top speed blah blah blah (your board I get it lol) making a big ol deal out of Nada, oh yeah, I don't care, listen to My ViSiV roar & my M4-Murda is Razor sharp. Take the driving line and Hud off & get your cars more real real quick. That goes to anybody complaining the cars in GT6 are too fast, most use HUD and Driving line & ghost car then complain they are faster than in real life what-do-yah-expect, turn off the assist buddy. The cars are faster in GT6 yeah but if you real up your experience the difference is small & not worth getting bent up over, its still a video game and so far none have proven to be perfect.

Are you mad PD is keeping its promises while so many cried as if they were not going to. Dont be mad, just have fun with the new update, ad if you cant thats your problem, dont try to crash a positive party because your too Scrooge to get on board.

No problem for me.

You tried the "dependent on the view" sound settings or different?

Well, actually it doesn't have an engine sound from these cameras. You can only hear gearbox whine. Stop and it'll be silent. At least for me.

I'll try again when I get home

Why Alfa! Why did you back out of VGT?!?

That's the million dollar question right there. Bertone is still in (and you know how bad their situation currently is) and Alfa isn't!? Has the Fiat Group vetoed the project? Alfa wasn't even a recent project, they were one of the first brands to be announced when the VGT project came to light...

Late edit: Not to mention they already had a name for their car: the 6C Biposto (watch the original VGT trailer and you'll see it).

I want to know when PD will include the option to enable mechanical damage, fuel/tire wear, standing start, have a full 16-car grid, choose AI's cars, and adjust AI difficulty in arcade mode. Without those options there's no proper racing offline in GT6, it's a time trial only game.

Well, FS, that question can only be answered by one person\company: PD themselves. Until we hear something from them regarding that issue (and the whole issue with the single-player campaign), we won't know anything at all. We can complain, but the answer lies with PD so we will only know if they say anything.

Well I'm not sorry about what was said because it was true, but agree that the sound is indeed awesome

I wonder if this update would make @TokoTurismo happy?
It's a pretty cool update, it actually got me excited in the background as well. :) Although the Course Maker is all I wish for though, thus I didn't bother to turn on GT6 (plus busy with the Sims 3 and all). :\ However, the community feature seems very interesting and I can FINALLY create a club or join a friend's own, so there is that too. :D

Right now I'm wondering if I should turn on GT6 or not, because if I do turn it on, I fear I may get bored again.

If course maker not being there is really all that makes you angry, than you probably will get bored

@NOS_VTEC there is this (skip to 2:00)

To be honest with you Toko, you getting bored depends on whether you play online frequently or not. :) If you do, you'll love to use the community feature, as you said it allows for you to create a club or join one. It also organizes the online experience better. If not, then the only major modification is the sound revamp, which is nice, but that's all there is to it (unless you like the VGT's or the BMW M4).

Not necessarily angry, but more like disappointed that it isn't here yet. Me, I love to create stuff, and that has always been my favorite thing to do.

You can say that, because I've played online like crazy before. :P I also like the VGTs and the new BMW M4. Don't get me wrong, this is a really awesome update and can't be negative towards it. It's just it's not really what I'm looking for in GT6, haha. ^^'

12 mins to install the update.

Update Details

- The "Community" area has been added to Online Mode.
- The Suzuka Circuit 2014 track has been added.

Don't bother. Wait a week and see if the clubs thing changes anything.

It may shake up the whole system, or there may not be enough people left playing the game to really make it work. It's unfortunately one of those features that gets exponentially better the more people are playing, and so would have been really at it's best in the first few months. Nearly a year later it may or may not be able to reach the potential that it could have.

The rest of the stuff is cute additions, and while they're much appreciated they would be a minor update in any other game. If you're not playing now, a couple of cars and an updated track aren't going to hold you for long.

That is very true on what you've written @Imari. Because I was on the fence thinking "should I or should I not" towards this update. It's cool what PD did with this update, really it is, although I just can't see myself sticking around for too long as you've just mentioned above.

Yeah, you have a point. Since your favorite feature has not yet been added, I'd guess that you're waiting a bit to see whether future updates have that or not and how this new community feature changes the game. Correct me if I am wrong, but perhaps you're only coming back to GT for good if one of the next updates comes with a major modification to the single-player and online modes, or the course creator. Or both, why not?

It is your decision, it's understandable if you're still on the fence about playing the game more or not. :)

Boy I wonder where PD got the sample sound for the Scooby VGT?

Just saying, there is an uncanny resemblance.

yes, because both of Subaru and Porsche are using a boxer engine (for some cars), so this Porsche probably using a boxer engine, and that's why they have an identical sound engine CMIIW
