It's so, no login bonus's in B-Spec.👎
Untrue. You get the full login bonus in B-Spec events (including Redbull).

I haven't tried the x2014 championship in A-Spec under 2.16, but I sincerely doubt that either the championship bonus, or the login bonus, have been eliminated.

I can't believe the crap many of you are posting here. The stuff ranges from lies to outright speculation to seemingly drug-induced hallucinations (stronger than placebos).

For the record, I have not noticed any physics changes, including weight transfer, no changes in field of view, no increased sensation of speed, or anything else.

I did approx 30 laps on midfield last night with a car that I've been driving a lot lately, testing for an upcoming series, and I can say I didn't notice any difference at all in the handling, so I was surprised to once again see people claiming physics changes in the undocumented changes thread. I could be wrong, but I certainly didn't notice any changes in how the weight felt or the sense of speed. Note that the car I drove is identical in every aspect before and after the update, I didn't even change the tune, and I've driven it so much I would notice the smallest of changes to it's handling, as I've tuned it to handle how I want. It was EXACTLY the same as before 1.16.
Which car and which parts, what control setup?

I tried the LM55 and Mini VGT at Midfield, nothing done to them.
A stock M3 CSL at Eiger short.
A stock EK9 at Madrid, and an R33 with and without differential mods at the same track.
A stock series 2 Clio V6 at Cote D'Azure.
A stock Legnum VR4 at Willow Springs.
A stock T350C at Trial Mountain.
A stock 330i at Nürburgring.

Racing hards on the Mazda, Comfort Soft on the Mini and Comfort Mediums on everything else, except the T350 which I also tried with Sports Hard.

No aids, no ABS, DS3.

I was drifting like a pro, by my standards, except for the occasional DS3 snap back. I attribute that to better visual feedback of the car's attitude from the more subtle body inertia. Which leads into...

I dont really feel any FOV change, the camera sits exactly there where it used to be. I think it's just a placebo. Since I used to play around alot with the FOV in GT5 with the secret menu I know what FOV GT5/6 has. Also the best thing to check it extremely quick is. Take the Nissan GTR use the hood/roof view. With standart FOV you gonna be able to see a glimpse of the roof on the bottom of the TV. That didnt change at all. When you even changed the FOV by 1-2° in GT5 you could see the roof of the GTR.

No FOV changes done. I don't know what makes you people feel that it runs faster but it doesnt :D
I don't think anyone mentioned the FOV, and I agree that it's the same. I noticed that the car wobbles a bit more in all directions, it's more responsive to surface undulations. People noted that Midfield seemed bumpy, but in reality it's mostly very smooth and flat. Transitions in track surface camber offer slight bumps that the car responds to. The faster you go, the greater the effect, because bumps seem more severe.

Really? I was doing the championship race of it and I wasn't getting any login bonuses at all.

Maybe only affects the championship, I just did a single race. I've always preferred to do that because Apricot Hill takes under 3 minutes and it's easy to win.

A-spec still receives the bonus. B

I received no login bonus so….?

The accusations aren't needed kid, grow up.

The login bonus IS available in both A-Spec and B-Spec for the x2014 championship, as is the championship bonus. I just confirmed both.

If people are not getting the login bonus, then they must be offline.

And playinthru, what accusations did I specifically make against you? As for being a "kid" needing to grow up, I've probably held a professional career for longer than you've been alive. During that time, I've learned that people like you should read more carefully.

I receive the login bonus in B-Spec, it may be a bug, we might just have to report it.

None of these comments are needed.

Hmm well, for me it kinda remained the same. I've driven the bumpy Nordschleife and it felt the same actually. I havent seen much of new wobble except the in my opinion very annoying vibration of your view at hard cornering. I'd like to have a decent wobble that moves with the body roll of the car instead that annoying shaking.

Anyways, it could be the case that it feels all the same for me since I havent played GT6 for ages since to this new update.

Let's not get into who is older here, o.k. You would need to hold a professional career long past the normal retirement age for that to be true. You made accusations against anyone who disagrees with you! A professional does not write how everyone is on drugs and accuse people of "hallucinating", that's kid stuff, kid.:P

What do i need read more carefully? I didn't respond to anything I read by the way. I responded about my personal experience last night.. Your response about needing to read carefully makes zero sense to my reply. I suggest you take your own advice friend.

You were in my house last night? You know what my experience was??

My grow up comment stands

FYI: I'll try B-spec again tonight as time permits. Hopefully I will receive my login bonus this time.

The garage 'sort by mileage' problem has been fixed, when you select it now all the previously un-updated 0 miles cars that do in-fact have mileage on them will show correct mileage and fall into order. 👍
One problem fixed and another one created. If you sort by mileage and the car data is updated, the sort by date acquired becomes totally screwed!

Other than the fact that PD doesn't have 250 employees and that they aren't slaves and don't "slave" away, they are actually just employees doing their jobs, yeah, good response.
Really, I was and still am in a good mood coincidentally since the update released. The new ability to match the paints and knowing what specific paint name they are is something I've wanted since painting the wheels of Standard cars became feasible. So it's not just about the track, but almost entirely all posts have been positive. The poster who tried to bring us down didn't bother me for once; it's strange looking back at it. I would usually stay away and not post at all, but like I pointed out, it was only that one bad apple in the orchard.

I didn't come to their defense because I was in agreement with them. I simply left out the thoughts I would usually lay the smackdown with after someone comments like that. Damn, looking back it ProRacer's original retort to that poster, I glossed over how he used "slave" as a verb. I'll get a bit more serious now after realizing something. There have been many times when people were frustrated, angry or being completely nonchalant about what they say. The thing that pretty much never gets attention is when people think it's ok to "recite" how Japanese people pronounce english words to get a laugh or because they're acting like... weiners. Some people have done it in a satirical way pretending to be Kaz after he's quoted saying something they think isn't clearly stated or isn't enough information for them.

Very few people (or no one all) have spoken up and said in a polite way, "Hey, prick, where's your common decency?"
Pretty much every time it happens, it's rare someone would speak up (maybe because it gets glossed over). There are more examples, some that pertain to Japanese culture. But... nothing. Whether it happened when afterwards people have spoken up or not, the timing was a factor.

Now, about the poster who came in with his negativity (in the wrong thread). Whether it's someone who is praising PD or bashing them, there are people who will disagree with them and explain to them the reason(s) behind their stance. Sometimes it comes off as a harsh reply, sometimes it's playful (eh, SOMEtimes) and sometimes they're spoken to in an earnest, mature manner. It didn't happen that time and I'll end this post by saying I'm no saint.

People know damn well, though, I back PD up to the point of being labeled by a certain few as a "PD apologist".

This is wayyyyyyyyy off-topic, and I even mentioned that before. I can't help it.

I did not make accusations against people for disagreeing with me. However some, such as yourself, posted demonstrably false information, such as, "It's so, no login bonus's in B-Spec.👎." That was a blanket statement, without any sort of qualification about a possible anomaly in your personal experience (such as your failure to be online). It was a false statement, and not a matter of opinion subject to agreement or disagreement.

There have been other false claims in this thread, such as the one about garage listings by mileage not working, and claims that prexisting features are new in this update.

Then there are the typical fuzzy claims that pop up with each new update, such as camber, weight transfer, etc. Placebos are amazing.

And FYI about this nugget: "What do i need read more carefully? I didn't respond to anything I read by theway."

If you read more carefully, you'll see that I accused nobody of taking drugs or hallucinating. Words like "seemingly" have meaning--and in this context it takes my comment far from the realm of accusation.

And, clearly you responded to something you read--namely the comment you misinterpreted as "accusations."

I'm beginning to suspect I unwittingly hit the nail on the head with the drug bit.

BTW, I only notice a perception change in hood view, the FoV is noticeably pulled back compared to before AND all other camera views.
There is no hood view, unless of course you are using the British meaning for hood ;) We have a roof view, bumper view, chase view and cockpit view.

Some cars however when in the roof view mode do look like a hood view, I wish they all did.

For those saying they did not get a login bonus I would suspect maybe they were not connected to the server at the time

@Whistle Snap is there any information that you can gather that shows which of the added cars use AES for audio instead of the usual sound samples? I already know that all the RedBull cars use AES along with Senna cars and Subaru and now the Mini VGT. Are there any more that you can actually tell that run in this intriguing system?

Looks like the course maker is close to release, I await the myriad of complaints this site will no doubt produce and some folks on here are on par with many on the GAF.

Something seems different about steering, it's much more sensitive and I'm using a DS3 especially at high speeds, kerbs aren't a death sentence anymore and some car audio seem to have a bit more punch unless my ears are wrong did the M3GTR road car always sound like that?

Added to car list:

MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo
Gran Turismo
Gran Turismo Race Mode
Gran Turismo

First time I've seen CourseMaker mentioned in the gtmode section:

/gtmode/CourseMakerRoot.adc

Anything that suggests any further/expanded uses for B-Spec and or Endurance races?

The garage no longer organizes highest to lowest mileage.

Nordschleife felt the same to me, too. I don't get the extra sensation of speed myself, but it could be caused by what I described, if that's what individuals latch onto.

The "wobble" is really very subtle. Initially I thought mass was more distributed within the body, then I realised that the body resists motion in different axes by different amounts. Previously, the vast majority of the dynamic character came from the suspension model, and the inertial behaviour of the body always felt a little simple - like it was constant density, spatially uniform etc.

Collisions are the same, but the way the body rotates as a result is subtly changed because of that change to the inertial model. The same applies to jumps, even though the way the ground "releases" the car hasn't changed.

Obviously the original figures for the previous inertial model would have been derived from the detailed data available to PD, so they would have been a sort of average value.

Performance, and hence lap times will not be affected greatly by this change as a result, because the average effect will be similar. It is just those tiniest instants, during the more dynamic maneuvres, e.g. turn in, brake or throttle onset, riding curbs, hitting large bumps, clipping scenery etc. that the difference presents itself.

I have a strong suspicion that downforce masks the effect, perhaps indirectly (e.g. stiffer structures to support the extra load - the only degrees of freedom the body has to move are through the suspension and tyres).
