the japanese music was the track where it was like that synthed guitarish thing, right? and it was like "We need something exciting, we need something exciting...(repeat repeat)....please game, please game, please game.....we need something exciting, please game.)

something like that. i have a trailer with that music, and was just wondering if that was the actual music/intro.

You know that track kicked so much arse, I wish I hadn't deleted that video. But that track is nowhere to be seen in GT4 unless it's the ending music or something. The Japanese GT theme is called moon over the castle and it's sorta Joe Satriani'ish rock.

I'll upload it to yousend it so you can listen.

can anyone pop this movie into Windows movie maker or something and make it 56k friendly?

Compared to the Lenny Kravitz intro, this is worse. Not because of the music, but because of the editing. Seriously, even if you haven't seen the japanese intro, you can tell the opera part is much better edited, with matching actions with the music.

The VH part has no cool parts like the Japanese intro with the flashing images that match the music.

again, thumbs down. should have kept the japanese intro :grumpy:

edit: okay, after watching it even more times, it kinda grows on you. it's just really weird how it ends and how it shows a bunch of JGTC cars with an American song. At least show lots of American cars. :)

BEST INTRO EVER!!!!! this version is miles ahead of the japanese version! Wow Good Job PD.👍

once i see the video.....i might be able to recommend some songs.

Ok for you people who don't like it, enjoy an MP3 that I encoded a few years ago.

Japanese Intro GT2
That version of GT has the best opening sequence out of every version of the game. Second is the Chemical Bros Manic street preachers Gt1 track and then the EU version of GT3.

Stupid kids, that song is a great choice. How can you say it doesn't "fit". Look at these matched up sequences:

It's good there are more songs about racing in the game and that's a great one to start with.

i have it about halfway downloaded. thanks a lot usernamed.

so far i can say the chorale is beautiful. i'm glad they added it. only thing is that soloist is a little harsh.....my mom could sing much better than she. (yeah my mom was an opera/everything singer. <_<) haven't gotten to the panama part yet, but i'll
post with my thoughts once i do.

it would be good except the crap music....it just dosent have the good ol Japanese flow......like it should....(GT3..love that intro)
 
okay, i dont know what the hell everyone is complaining for...

i thought that was a GREAT intro. nothing beats opera and classic rock.

i'm with solid lifters on this one....everything syncs and fits just fine. stop whining, and have some respect for the genres.

edit: the ending is horrible though....that's the only thing weak about it.

If you had seen the Japanese intro you would see why the operatic part doesn't fit. Download the GT2 intro I posted, then download the next one I upload.I own Van Halen's 1984 and I ****ing love that song.
 
i hope this is a really bad joke...and they will have another song for intro when the game comes out....i pray 2 god 2 change the song....

hmmm the opera part doesnt go into the next song fluently to make it feel ok for me.

the japan version gave me goosebumps, this doesnt "fit"
 
the ending leaves me thinking about panama instead of GT4 though....
 
Wow. It's liked they picked the song, and slapped it on to the intro they already had. Not even bothering to make it fit.
