Can this magazine be put on the News page? It really is quite excellent, and needs to be shown to the "casual" readers of GTPlanet. Well done Schwadegan!

That looks great man! The artilces turned out great. Definitley proud to have been a part of it. Writing my next article as we speak. Nice job putting it together Schwadegan, and nice job to everbody else who contributed! 👍 👍

Wow, really great job everyone who was involved. This is excellent and I hope to read all of the articles later tonight. If I can find some free time I have a few ideas for articles I would want to do, so hopefully I can contribute an article or two for the next issue.

Anyways it looks really, really good.

Wow. Its a great concept and I really expected to be into this, but I just had a look at the magaizine, and umm I cant be the only one thinking the style of writing is a little on the psycho side?
I mean I know its on purpose that its treated it like a real magazine, but it just feels so forced and artificial and even twisted dare I say. I think it needs to back of a little making connections to what the test driver did to the car in his mind and get a bit closer to the game

Everything I read like "I strolled accross europe" "When i finally arrived...The car was parked amongts tourists with its ownder standing next to it" seems so in depth that it has the effect of seeming too forced,

Its like reading a Romance novel, the aurthur is pulling stuff out of their arses (its not a rude word ifs its not said in american is it?).

In other words people are trying so hard to ignore the fact its all fantasy, that it seems, lame.

My fav article was the last one. Maybe its the mountains and the smooth natural looking photos.

I think even the fact that the person who spent time writing this article and submitting it for the magazine shows that there are people appreciating these kinds of stories. Though I do see where you're coming from and personally tend to read fact rather than fiction, I do not want to mute this part of the community. It is important to keep the diversity of the articles true to maintain a wide interest.
On a side note, I do think it is possible to phrase the "pulling stuff out of their arses" part in a more fashionable manner.

writing is a little on the psycho side?

Psycho- Short for psychotic.

Psychotic- The act of being afflicted by psychosis.

Psychosis- Any severe mental disorder in which contact with reality is lost or highly distorted.

Im pretty sure psycho isn't the right word. Writing stories based off videogames that are supposed to sound like real life is accually very popular. They are called "Fan Fictions" or Fanfics for short. Although Fanfics are not my cup of tea, there are many people who love them. Theres huge sites out there devoted to these. There are plenty of other informational stories in the article for you to enjoy.

Nice to finally see it up, Schwadegan - looks awesome, haven't read it all yet, but will shortly 👍

I'll definitely get to work on something for the next issue; whether it's a full article or just an ad for the Photomode Comps, I got swamped shortly after New Years and have had to take a step back from the creative side of GT5 since then. I should be able to fit it in this time.

The article in question sort of surprised me; I'm sure it might be a coincidence, but it reminded me a lot of the article I posted a while back in this very thread (link to my gallery update here). I also remember you mentioning you preferred a less embellished writing style, which was why I didn't submit that one (or the second half... or the new articles I'm writing). So it struck me as a bit unexpected, though nice regardless.

You're right it does remind quite a bit about the article you posted :guilty:
My apologize if I've fooled you, though I think now once the subject is being mentioned, it won't hurt to include these kind of stories as long as they don't make up the greater part of the magazine to spice things up a bit. (Maybe we could use your article for the next issue or the one after that depending on resemblance to the one in the first magazine?)

I dont want to mute this part of the community either. Its awesome, I guess my intent was to say, maybe if it was a litle more down to earth it would appeal to a greater number of people.

I have no idea...
I sent a message about it the moment i published it, and I haven't even got an answer.

Again, I think maybe if the artciles were a little more focused on GT and treating it for what it is (a great game) intead of pretending to be actual jourtnlists revewing actual cars in actual locations and scenarios, it would have a little more general reach.

I'm far from conversative and even for me its a little too, as Kramer says "VRTUTUTUTUUTTUUTTU.....out there."

Dude its one article in like 9 or 10 get over it already

I just poked at it a bit, but it looks very slick and am sure it's going to be a fun read.

Wow... and no complaining?? Imagine!

If you check Jordan's tweets (@GTPlanetNews) he said that the magazine is "great, and will be on the home page soon". :)
(thanks to me, @turini2)
