Using the Handbrake

Because we have no handbrake modified yet for our G27's, Wesley and I have both shift paddles as handbrake. I know I should use something that isn't an on/off switch but at the minute I can't. The handbrake is a very useful tool in drifting and everyone should use it to some extent wether for initiating or lengthening the drift.

Bye.
Crazy person lol, maybe check my profile first before making such accusations?

JSD here,
I won't be online Gran Turismo or PS3 for that matter for a while now. Was rushed into A&E(Accident and Emergency) on Saturday because I fell from a window ledge at 10ft(dont ask what i was doing :) ) Anyways bad news is my Spine is damaged and I lay in bed like a cabbage. Good news is that it's nothing important and with time and weed all will be good.

Going to miss the fun times we shared together! :nervous:

Make new thread and put publishing team at the bottom and have JSD-DUDDY there to annoy mods lol.

If you need more proves, i can take a print screen. So, please, don't even try.

Double post. Plus, it would not get me banned, because it is not against the AUP, which can't be said about create new accounts in order to avoid a ban.

"which can't be said about create new accounts"

You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

We can both play that game.

I'm not going to stoop to your level of lowness, have fun on the forums whilst it lasts. Looking at your previous posts you're quite the troll around here. Enjoy!

I'm using the same brake setup as you are.

But besides that point, I know the clutch pedal is working with an axis, and pressure, but couldn't you use the 'biting' point as an Ebrake button? I think, for example, that I can use R2 on my controller for an Ebrake as well, and that's also an axis-movement. (I hope you get the thing I'm trying to say.)

I know you use the same setup as me (what can I say we have boss status hahaha :) )

Ummm i think i know what you mean. If you mean like mapping the clutch you can't (and in my opinion why would anyone want to).

The problem is is if he made the clutch pedal do anything else he will no have a clutch at all.

Sorry if I am not getting what you mean.

Ok.

Edit: Sorry for having to deal with this troll on your thread I felt it was more than needed.

Duddy the only troll is you, like making another account after being banned twice.

Just let it go. I do not want any drama brought on to us from this little bicker battle.

It depends on my car. Some cars I tune for fine smooth redline drifting. Other cars I tune for fast aggressive drifting, with fast cars I use the e-break to whip through S curves faster then normal and IT WORKS wonderfully.

At Dark: Lock2Lock understood what I was asking perfectly. So yes, I do know that my post was clear enough.

At Lock: Okay, good to know. Why someone would want to? Well, it's easy to use, and some people don't use the clutch pedal, if I'm correct. For them it would be perfect if they could map it. ;) But, I'm not saying it's smart not using the clutch :)

Try no ABS
And brake balance
Front- 0
Rear- 7 to 10

Use your brake pedal.
With 7 it will have more looseness like you were pulling the e-brake slowly.

With 10 it is instant responding e-brake.

Also it works like a long time ago when I had the right joystick as the e-brake on a controller (which acts like a true real life e-brake. And this is also what a lot of people use when making a e- brake for their wheel).
Trust me this does work. Then you can use your shifter again.

By the way i still use this broken setting currently on my G27 too

I use the Ds3 fore E-Breake to ;)

Not at all? Im just using my brake pedal as a e-brake really.

I would say it might be possible though ^^

I used to do this... but then there were moments where an ebrake would benefit better. Much better for choking up on someones door.

I do not use e-brake too much, only when I need to get extra angle, and for reverse entries. It will not make you a better drifter if you use it but I think it's required for a good reverse entry. (^○^)オ
