Photomode Race Replay glitch still isn't fixed.

Would it kill them to give us just a tiny bit of love instead of screwing us over from GT5.

The only thing better about it is the engine and weight modifications are not permanent as they were in GT5.
Wouldn't the tuning sheets be better in GT6 if you didn't need to edit your tune A and C all the time if you made changes to Setup B? And what about copy setup to a different tune sheet as was previously in GT5?

I just replied that some tuning setting (engine power / w.reduction) are carried over as in GT5 or at least can be reversed - unlike GT5 :D That's better , but understandable not perfect for some . Why so ? Only PD knows . To me, It would make more sense if A/B/C would be independent ,but I take it as it is. It bothers me more that there's no reset tune option :D

Don't know if this post belongs here but I'm trying to get my last gold at the Goodwood redbull prototype, since updating to v.1.04 both of my ghost replays are way ahead of any start I can get in 1.04 with what I believe are the same settings. Just wondering if they have changed the acceleration of the Red Bull prototype or if perhaps any of you have a old ghost that you can try to match the start with v 1.04.

By the way, racing in the Red Bull X challenges still only counts the No. of Races without recording the No. of Wins.
First time I did race and won I didn't get my extra money for signing in I messed up had redo races anyway then got it 2nd time.

What glitch are you talking about? (I'm a little worried asking this question again and again... )

Anyway (please don't take this personally), I dunno how previous GT's were, but seeing how many updates are already there, the future features (Ronda editooooor!), the free cars, vision gt, seasonal events, Red Bull and on and on... i think a "little bit" of love already flows from the developers :P

Whenever I try updating GT6 to 1.04 my ps3 crashes. Not fun.

it appears that I hadn't downloaded the previous update and that was causing the ps3 to crash. I didn't run the ps3 repair this past time and both updates just downloaded. For anybody else experiencing this.

There is this thing called the Internet that your PS3 hooks up to that lets you compete with millions of people for infinite gaming experiences. We don't really need Seasonal Events to give you something to do in this game. But for the folks with social anxiety disorder, I suppose online racing could cause a panic attack.

Or you live in an area where the internet options suck and the online races won't load properly because of the speed. I only needed this game to hold me over till spring when I can go play with the real cars again but was too much to ask it seems. If the course creator came on day 1 like advertised on the preorder pages I'd be fine, that's pretty much the only new feature I wanted.

I just noticed that when viewing a car before you buy it, it says below the paint color "Interior: Simple" or "Interior: Detailed" also known by Standard or Premium.

It's been there in 1.03, including the sketch.
So it wasn't there at game launch. I thought so. Plus the 1.03 update hasn't been out very long.

Karts cannot be raced on tracks with dynamic lighting or weather

They can be raced with dynamic lighting, but not dynamic weather. There's only two tracks in the game that has dynamic lighting but not dynamic weather, though: Route X and GT Arena.

Things I've found
Changed
- The sound engine has in fact been reworked. Engine sounds now echo more, adding to the atmosphere of the race.
- The Red Bull X2010's top speed has been reduced from ~330mph to about ~300 mph.
Not changed
- Arcade races are still 10 cars (>:E), and there's still no option to enable fuel usage and tire wear.

So, next week GT6 will be 2 months of age, and this damn pit stop bug is still very much alive. That's ridiculous. That's codemasters levels of don't fixing bugs. I'm out, can't freaking play online mode. Gonna be back when they fix it, if they ever do.

Your bug only applies to racing tires. Too bad there aren't other tires available so you could still enjoy the game. I've been racing online for many weeks, with pitstops, and not only have I had no "bug" issues but I've also had a lot of fun. Shame that you must have got a different copy of the game that only has race tires, vintage cars on CS tires is a phenomenally great time. 👍

Sorry if you are not noticing it else than racing tires, its pretty much there on ALL compounds, and affecting badly races.

No, I've done two different hour long races for the last 3-4 Sundays in a row. One runs on CM/CS/SH tires and one runs always on SH tires. Both races require a pitstop and in none of my races have I or anyone else in the room experienced any differences on the second set of tires. I've had the game since launch day, play almost daily, and I have yet to encounter any form of this bug. But then, I don't use racing tires. When I get home I can post screen shots from this past Sundays race where I was doing basically the same lap times on laps 40-50 on a second set of SH tires as I was in the first 20 laps.

Thanks, Does the top speed reduction also affect the Red Bull Goodwood? See post #456 about the Redbull Goodwood challenge.

It's way more noticeable with Racing tires and racing cars.

Interesting about the audio issue, I have not experienced this in any version

Not entirely, this is the purpose of the thread
so far it appears to be:
Tire model changed(still no change to before/after pit stop issue) & appears to altering Friction Coefficient (at least off track)
entire Sound modeling appears altered (whether this is a fix or new problem remains to be seen)
Brake Bias, and possibly entire braking calculations

The sound of the tires looks like are back as they were before, at v1.0.
Confort and Sport seems rubish again. Sounds like a Super Nintendo game. The sound of the racing tires seems more refined and very different than the other two types of tires.

Haven't you guys noticed this?

When I read the @hognhominy I thought that finally we´d be getting the NEW improved tire sounds. But no... the are worse... =(
