Not sure if anyone has posted this yet but the changes they made to the Mitsubishi Evos regarding AYC has caused these cars to be ineligible for "tuning prohibited" rooms. They actually start out as eligible until you look at the AYC setting in the tuning menu, then they become ineligible.

There have been other cases of this in previous updates, PD makes a permanent change to a car and it is no longer allowed in a "tuning prohibited" room. Eg. Downforce added to Diablo GT2 in v1.03

Nissan 240 SX (S14) paint glitch is now 'fixed' (nonexistent). If it's been posted before, my apologies.
Please Elaborate I was unfamilar with this issue

what about EVO VIII MR GSR '04?? What did they do?
Silvia K's Aero (S14) '93 Car description spelling error still persists. Still says Sylvia.
I am not entirely sure what the changes were
I think AI line has been improved on Apricot Hill. They tended to slow down a lot through chicane at the end, now they're going much better there.

Oh, and I've noticed no smoke from tires on Nurburgring Type V.
I have seen multiple reports about AI differences, but am unsure how to characterize it. I will note changes.
Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere else (I have posted this in the list of glitched instruments thread as well since that seems to cover these kind of points as well), but the M4 Coupe has KPH speedo when you have MPH selected.

This was like this ever since the interior was added as far as I can tell, and has not been fixed by v1.04 as far as i can see (have rewatched some replays from before and no apparent change to the interior display even though i drive permanently in MPH).

Thought it might be helpful to mention it here.

I know this is an issue with a few cars judging by the OP, but the M4 Coupe does not seem to be included in the lists on this thread or the glitched instruments thread which is why I mentioned it.

Happy for someone to check and verify this of course, appreciate you can't just take my word for it lol.
I will verify this and add it to the log

Intereting, I will make a note of it.

I found another paint glitch (?). Not really a hidden stripe.... Just weird. Using the 240SX (S14) from 1996. My initial plan was to paint it Pearlescent Royal Navy Blue Pearl, but it seems I hit Pearl White and Royal Navy Blue Pearl to make a combination. The door mirrors and rear bumper slit are Royal Blue. The rest is white. It works with other colours too. I just hit Pear White first in the Pearlescent section, and hit another colour that's in the Pearlescent section.

To see pictures

Basically, the two colors would shift in color depending on the lighting, and certain body parts were the colour you tried to paint the car in. So, my car was Pearl White and Royal Navy Blue. In a fully lit track, Willow Springs, the car was white, however, whatever part the sun didn't hit, the car would turn the color you intended to paint it in.

I just replied that some tuning setting (engine power / w.reduction) are carried over as in GT5 or at least can be reversed - unlike GT5 :D That's better , but understandable not perfect for some . Why so ? Only PD knows . To me, It would make more sense if A/B/C would be independent ,but I take it as it is. It bothers me more that there's no reset tune option :D
Sorry my bad. Read your OP again and now I see that you meant only certain aspects of the tuning sheet are better than the ones in GT5:D Yes I agree on the 'reset to default' feature, especially needed for transmission settings.

Almost. They did partially fix it, but obviously didn't really test the fix. I just ran the 24 minutes of Le Mans, and found that every car that didn't cross the line before time ran out just stopped running and was classified as 1 lap down, even though several of them were only a couple of seconds behind me and 2nd place. IOW, I crossed the line to begin my 7th lap just a few seconds before time ran out. Only one AI car made it in time with me. All of the other cars stopped racing when they crossed the line and began their cool-down laps instead of battling for 1st/2nd with me and 2nd place. They would have had a good shot at it, too, since my car was really slow on the straights.

Try for a 3rd time, PD

Edit: It occurs to me that this might be behaving as desired. However, as much sense as this behavior might make in a 24-hour race, it makes little sense in a 7-lap race since it means that most of the field might be running a 14% shorter distance than the winner -- and the only way to pick a winning fuel strategy (without driving a car that completely overmatches the competition) is to know how many laps the AI cars will do. In GT5, when they ran predictably, that might have been possible. With the craptastic decision they made to have the AI drive 20% slower or faster on a given lap based entirely on trying to make sure they have the opportunity to wreck you on the last corner of the race, it's almost completely pointless to try.

Oops, I didn't know about that. I haven't reached the S license yet. I have only done the 15 minutes races though, which seem to be completely okay with nothing unusual happening anymore.

To be fair, they really did fix the most important part. You were the first person I saw point that out, so thanks!

TURBO KITS ARE STILL NOT FIXED FOR THE HSV-010 GT 15th ANNIVERSARY EDITION '11!!!!!!

STILL ONLY CARRY LOW AND MID RPM RANGE TURBO KITS AND WILL STILL REVERT BACK TO LOW RPM WHEN WE EXIT THE MENU!!!!!
SO.. Shouldn't even be able to add power parts to the race cars anyway. Relax until they fix the other gamer's wish's.

Is there something in the race car that prevents you from actually doing that in real life?

Yes.. It's called building a car correctly..

Addition:
And some wounder why the cars are all over the place again and acting funny. If you want GT5 game play then go back to GT5, it's not that hard. 👍

I don't quite understand :indiff: (now I sound like an idiot ).

Are you saying its because its against the regulations of the actual race cars certain category?

Yep, no idea why people try and ruin Super GT cars by shoving engine tuning and turbos in the cars. It couldn't happen IRL, so no reason you should be able to do so in GT6.

👍👍👍👍👍

If you brought the car, you should have the right to do whatever you want with it, IMO. I didn't buy the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 to race GT3 style.

So don't buy the GT3 car, buy the standard one. You're expecting too much from cars that are designed exclusively for one purpose.
I like some of the race cars technology and features that you can't get in some normal cars, besides I think race cars look cooler :P.

I have my Audi and BMW to race GT3 style.

If you look at GTD, they use GT3 cars but they're different compared to actual GT3.
