VCRC vintage & low power :: Sunday 3pm GMT / 10am US EST

Yeah the Beginner Course too. It was great with the kei cars.

The Motorland track was the one with the hinky off-camber turn before the pit entrance. (Though I can't remember if that was on the reverse maybe?)
If you did the 1-make race in GT4 - in I think the Lupo, you would get messages that the AI Lupos would keep entering the pit by accident, after hitting that off-camber turn at a bad angle. That just cracked me up. It was not a long race, and you'd just see the messages popping up that the AIs were entering the pits. :odd:

I remember having lots of fun there with kei cars & cars like the Eagle Talon, in Family cups.
Yes I did remember how the ai always entered the pits by accident or ended up slamming into the pit wall. It was hilarious. Ah those were the days. I much preferred the way they had the arcade mode set up. Every time you got a new car in career mode it automatically was added to arcade mode. You didn't have to favorite cars. And I like how they organized them into brands and countries

I've never done the Limbo Stick racing before, is there anything special I need to know or do? I read through the OP but just want to make sure I'm fully prepared for Sunday. :)

One word. Momentum.

(These cars are VERY slow. ie: that's the only thing special about the event... Other than they do each have different interesting characteristics.)

I gathered that much. :) Just wanted to be sure there weren't any different rules or procedures I needed to be aware of.

I've never actually raced such slow cars online before. It ought to be fun. But probably funnier than it actually is fun :odd:.

I have a hard time distinguishing between fun vs. funny.

But that's probably obvious to everyone. :sly:

Laughter is good for you, physiologically & mentally.

You can thank me later. ;)

I'm not sure if I've ever raced any this slow either. Should be a hoot though. Seeing all those old cars battle at a death-defying 45mph should be quite a spectacle!

Scuba mask @ oval race should be the most bizarre draft battle. :odd:

But I often put people in the vintage Fiat in shuffle for Monte Carlo, as a spec race.
It turned into a tradition.
Just mainly because everyone would 🤬 about "dirty" driving at Monte Carlo, even at 300pp shuffle base. :boggled:
So anytime people voted for Cote, I'd announce "you know what this means"... and all the regulars would start chanting in text chat "Fiat! Fiat! Fiat!"
Turned out to be more popular than I htought it would be where people would vote for cote on purpose! (I'd originally meant it as a deterrent to voting for that track lol)

:lol::lol: That was so funny. Feelyat, that's so stupid but hilarious.
Exactly! It was on a Canadian show that speaks English, which makes it even more hilarious. I heard the people in the flood didn't make it out alive though, nothing funny about that. And now, back to ün Feelyat!!!

LMFAO!!!!

Sorry, I'll refrain from posting brain-hurting nonsense in your thread from now on. :dopey:

(I'm laughing so hard right now, just as the Dr. prescribed!)

Oh my god that was so funny:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:. Don't mess with a professional. That fight scene was so funny. And we he finished him off and he just fell over. Wow keep this coming Brandon

I had a try with the Abarth around Brands-Hatch this evening (where I do all my stock comfort-soft classic runs ;)), it left me with some mixed feelings about it. First of all, the cornering speed is simply insane! It corners as fast as the Europa, Dino, and Alpine 110 no doubt - i was exiting the final corner at 80mph, which although i think is completely overpowered it is nice and balanced for the most part with a tad of understeer which does make it fun.

I'm in agreement with Brandon about the gearbox though because it's a total chore. Such a long throw wouldn't be a problem in something with torque, but with a tiny 1.5 liter Abarth developed thing that makes 99% of the power between 8000 and 8005 rpm it's useless, if you hit any gradient at all when shifting from 3rd to 4th you will not continue to accelerate at all.

I sincerely hope whatever track you have planned is spirit-level flat .
