Vettel Challenge

sdf
Sorry mate i dont know, i havent tried it.
But i have 2 ps3's, i'll fire up the old multi-YLOD'ed one with the hope that it will last long enough so i can test if the glitches works and hopefully i will not have to reflow it again to get the disc out :nervous:.

In about 8 hours the endurance ends, i'll post as soon as i test it out.

FYI sdf,
if your disc gets stuck in, turn the power switch off in the back. Then hold your finger on the eject button and flip it back on. It will eject the disk.

I have used all views and outside car has been working more than others I also like the camera where you just see the ground no car

I normally use bumper cam but with the X1 my movements were to sudden and exagerated so I switched to hood cam. The car felt more stable and even slower, allowing for more precision. Just my two cents.

The CECHC models doesnt do that.
CECHC models is the EU release day PS3's (march 2007) with part software/part hardware BWC.

After like 3 hours of trying I get a 2.05.462. 3 hours each half second....Well I can confirm that you can get out of the ring on 1.10 in practice mode. I am looking for routes I just get reset a lot and it's kinda hard to get in sometimes.

Been playing monza even more and I got 2.04.139. And then I was on final turn on the final lap way ahead of the ghost and I get a message from someone on psn and look up and turn to late.

I need more tips for Nurburgring. My time its 2:10.055, and yesterday i did on the 1st lap 1:04.100 but on the second lap i lose time. I use this settings:

ABS: 1
SR: on
Drive line: on
Brakes: 10R/10F

All the others off. I chose the cam on the roof and turn off the tablier.

If you ran a 1'04.100 then you are right on it. Just make sure you brake a little earlier in turn one but everything else do the same. I recommend turning the HUD off so the second lap you are focused on driving and not your time. It helped me.

I need more tips for Nurburgring. Im using DS 3. Give me seetinds, tips, corners, times of checkpoints please. Im with 2:09.845.

It's all in this thread.
And no, you can't get gold-worthy time with 0:49.7xx sector 3.

Got all gold last night, monumental challenge on suzuka I'll tell you that, best thing for tips I can say is just try your absolute best to stick to the racing line and use as much of the track as possible, bomb diving into corners in a big cloud of smoke might feel fast but it compromises your exit massively. The biggest things I had trouble with was: confidence in the car (it can take all but 1 of the suzuka s bends flat out with ease but you just have to believe it can), large elevation changes (these really throw the car off, even kerbs can create a massive change in balance at times) and finally, stringing two consistent laps together, I many a time managed laps that were good enough to complete the challenge only to then either make a mistake on the first or the second lap.

Almost there on Monza (DS3)
PB for first lap is 1.03.750
PB for the second lap is 0.59.675

Just gotta put those two together

Then it will just be the ring left

Im stuck on Nurburgring. I improve my time, did 19.900, 34:200, but on the last checkpoint i do 49:500. I think im losing speed on the 2 corners after Shumacher S.

19.9 and 34.2 aren't good splits, they would give you gold only if you absolutely nail 2nd lap.
You should go for 19.6 and 33.9 at least, that would give you 3rd split of 48.7 and a lap time of 1:04.1xx
At Kumho you should start braking at 50m mark and start steering immediately while going above the curb on the left, you don't have to brake for Bit - just glide and start accelerating as soon as you allign with the corner correctly.

To be honest it's worth running both laps anyway, whether you're going to make the target time or not. Purely for practice, it helped me anyway.

The trick with the corners after the Schumacher S is to drop down 1-2 gears maybe and just throw the car into the first one, after that you should be good for the 2nd one which is nearly flat out. I struggled most on the last chicane since the point you brake at is incredibly late and if the car hits a kerb it gets very unstable.

Eh.. I have to give up.
I was trying the techique with hitting white boxes at the last chicane and here are my results:
~1,04,2xx-1,04,4xx on the first lap (which is 0,2-0,4s faster compared to the video)

The problem is that.... I ALWAYS **** up the second lap -__-
And the worst thing is.. that it almost always happens in strange places, where usually i have 0 problems...

I'm using DS3.
Manual gearbox
ABS : 1
Active S... : strong
SRF : on

Take off active steering and use roof cam. It will help a huge amount.

Yup, you don't need active steering with the X1, it helps to prevent wheel spin and oversteering, but thats not a problem with this car. Roof cam was the key for me.

I didn't feel any difference without active steering and I always use roof cam. The problem is that I can't make second lap without falling out of the track.

Ps. Sorry if my English is bad..

Turn off your hud and it will allow you to focus more on your driving on the second lap and less on thinking about screwing up and time.
I will say I haven't golded Nurb yet but that is the last one.
Practice, practice, practice. It's all going to come down to luck or a lot of time so that you can run it in your sleep.

Getting gold with 1:04.2xx is hard. Pressure is a killer in the 2nd lap then.
Focus on totally destroying lap 1.
I got 1:03.1xx lap 1 and 1:04.5xx lap 2.
If you absolutely nail lap 1 - you'll be relaxed in lap 2.

I found the opposite to be honest, I found if I was fast on lap 1 I was more scared of screwing up on lap 2 and thus was too slow. Yet if I was a bit slow on lap 1 I pushed really hard on lap 2 and made up the time :)

That's exactly what I did.
I basically use lap one as a 'warm up' lap to get me in the zone.
Then on the second lap pick up the pace and be a bit more aggressive.
I still pushed it some on lap one but pound away lap two.

I tried again today and.. of course I failed again...
I have done some first laps in ~ 1,04,2xx and one first lap at 1,04,0xx (with hitting white boxes) but as always I finished out of the track.

My best overall time is 2,08,15x which I did.. after 1,04,5xx on the first lap -__-

This thing costs me too much....
