ill join i love the S60R and T5 and i have a friend with a S80 2.5 D
tuff240Not true at all. They are quite easy to get moderate amounts of power out of. You can also turbo your non-turbo motor just as easily (or easier) than changing out the entire motor. With the higher compression, you just run less boost, but since your normally aspirated power is higher, it makes the boost psi vs hp output more. In other words, 8 psi on a non-turbo motor is like 12-14 on a turbo motor. Plus you will get better gas mileage, have more power down low and have less "issues" because of less stress on all the parts. More boost equals more issues. 10psi on a stock normally aspirated 240 or 740 motor will be roughly 190-220hp depending on a few other smaller details.
powripperok, well maybe not very hard, but it is alot harder than most japanese cars (ie/ civics, crxs etc etc...) its one of the more dificult cars to tune due to limited parts and they are not the kind of car ricers run out to tune.
Holdenhsvgtsraww everyone ignored me
If by "tune" you mean to make look like the F&F ricer crap then yeah, there aren't many places that sell parts to fix the car up cosmetically or even the normal "bolt on" type mods.
T5-RWould get a 850, but my bros already got one , unless I got a T-5R/R but there going up in price & most are automatics/estates 👎
I'd do a search at Brickboard.com, plenty of useful stuff there. (Awful site layout though.)alexei_plHi guys I have a problem with the viscous fan of my Volvo 740 gl. I don't know what kind of oil is used in it and how much? I have an oil leakage wich i eleminate.
Looks like a ferrari logo with a moose or a deer instead of a stallion... the northern Ferrari!skip0110Whats up with the big yellow 1/4 panel sticker? Volvo trying to become some sort of faux-Ferrari?
jpmontoyaLooks like a ferrari logo with a moose or a deer instead of a stallion... the that's the northern Ferrari.
fast1Why would they take legal actions? That is just a concept car. You think it did some damage to ferrari?
I'd stay away from the 2.1L '82 coupe if Volvos are reasonably easy to find in your area. They are slower than snot and not very fuel efficient with the older fuel injection. Unless you plan on doing a motor swap or adding a turbo. The 2 doors (242's) are cool and getting harder to find in good condition though.240ZWell, I'd like to join. I'm currently looking for a <86 240 for a daily driver, as my '71 Datsun 240Z isn't going to be finished soon. I missed a Turbo by one day in Auto Trader, and now I'm looking at an '82 DL coupe w/ Manual trans.
