I just took at look through pages 1-3 of your thread. Just wondering, did you alter any of those photos besides resizing? Cause I'm feeling the old pictures than the new, "blur" types that I'm seeing on page 18.

Natural is better imo.

Yes just trying something new.....I know i do fine with minimal PS work but wanted to see what I can do with filters....

I really really like the third Esprit one - none of the others caught my attention (except the second SVT but it too edgy). More PS work or not the others just didn't have good composition, in my opinion.

It's odd, because I'm just starting to do more 'PS' work to mine and wow are they so much better! lol

Hmmm...Im getting alot of mixed reviews....maybe I should lose the " soft blur"...
It sounds like most enjoyed my minimal pics better.

I like your new pictures, but I think the soft focus is too strong if you maybe toned it down I think they'd look better, maybe they could be slightly darker too? (I hope you don't mind my criticism, I know my pictures aren't too great) 👍

Dont mind at all....this just a big trial and error right now...once I get a solid look going but I cant get there without trying new things.

all I can say is .... don't put yourself into a specific style
it is cool to use soft focus thing, but don't use it every single picture
like only 1/3 or less in a batch will be good enough

Agreed, i must say though that alot of people are using photoshop to filter thier pics beyond infinity and back, some look good some look awfull, i personaly prefer images that have been tweeked with the sarpen and contrast., I hate the lens flare and other cheap filters, as long as the images dont become a grave yard for filters, then im sure your shots will be good.

I only use one filter so far....I havent used sharpen yet though.
Im not using the filter on all my shots....I still have like 10 more of each car thats untouched. I was just posting the ones that had a filter on it to gauge the reaction to the change. Im not trying pin myself to a specific "look"...but I needed to change things up a bit...as you can tell by the lack of quality in my recent posts that Im getting uninspired....so Im just trying to find new inspiration.
