The top down pic (#8) of the R390 is simply great, the first one is even greater! The glossy blue paint beside the red leaves on the crisp ground makes this one an A+. :drool:

The second A+ is the Cizeta logo shot. Really really stunning. I often looked after good detail shots, but mostly they turned out verry blurry and pixelated. There is only one minor change I´d do. Cut some 5 pixels at the top and 3 at the bottom, so that the diagonals end right in the corners of the pic. 👍 👍 👍

Wow, vr6, this one was great. I don't really like those wheels, but after seeing them on this car, I feel like turning on gt4 and putting them on all of my cars. You made this car look great, and I think the wings adds to the look. I don't get why people complain aou them, it really adds a "race car" feel, but at the same time, the car looks like something you would drive on a peacful country road.👍
 
Thanks it shot better than I thought. It does have some jaggies around the headlight and fenders due to being in the earlier versions of GT so its just an older skin. All in all Im happy with the way it turned out. Its pretty photogenic.

TVRfan - I thought that shot was kinda cool too...a lot redder than the others.

BJC - I was going to use that shot in the comp but it needed more work than the rules allowed. :indiff:

EKMatt - Why wouldnt you want to shoot it?

PB - I like the blue and gold thing that subaru does so I thought it would work here. They are pretty tough looking wheels. Im glad someone digs the combo...but I was expecting mixed reviews :)

I'm starting to think that those wheels actually give some... hmm... "tough-guy"-looks for the car. But the wing doesn't fit. Or well, it looks pretty nice on the one pic from behind (pic #7) and the rims are quite nice on the same pic as well. And when they're spinning they really don't look that bad. But on those PhotoTravel pics they look not-so-good.
And it seems you have a pretty damn high toe-out on your rear tires. On the second to last pic it seems like only the very inside part of the tyre even touches the ground. Must be one hell of an experience to drive a car with such a high toe-out angle on the rear tires. :confused:
But overall you have some very nice pics here. Even the pics of the ugly-duckling 👍
 
:) Thanks for checking in 👍 I often run a high rear camber on my cars, but that one shot makes it look crazy. I guess the mix of, cresting the hill whiletaking the right turn at speed might have got the rear to leave the ground some :)

Really, is it camber or is it toe? I just can't remember which does which! :ouch:
 
It's negative camber you were seeing. And, yea, that's a ton for the rear end. I'm guessing about -3 degrees? Anyway, VR6, when you said ugly duckiling you weren't joking man! Ugghhh! The only picures in this set that really stood out to me were the first shot and #8, the overhead view. I like the first one because of the reflections, especially, and it's one of your famous partial car shots. I think the fact that you fit the car's name badge in there is a nice detail. I'm a fan of modern style shots and the straight lines of the stairs in the background add a little of that "new" feeling to the photo.
The overhead shot really surprised me when I saw how rough it was. It looked almost like it wasn't edited at all. But that's OK, because the reason I like it is the shape of the car from above. I love how the car flares out over the wheels and pinches tight in the middle. The curve of the back edge of the spoiler nicely compliments the curve of the front of the car itself; that makes it seem like the spoiler was meant to be there. Oh, and you can't see those rims in that shot, either. Whew, that's a relief!:D
 
The first,second, and third ones are really cool. I like all of the reflections. 👍

The second to last one is nice, too. You did a pretty good job of lining them up. 👍

I thought it wore it well...but I knew that some wouldnt like the combo. When I entered it it did get some negative feedback...so I just titled it ugly duckling from the comp conversation.
 
That first picture of the R390 was a great idea and it came out very, very well.

Also, the red Alfa GT is S-E-X-Y! 👍
 
Wow, the reflections in the first pics are amazing. How did your pic not get into the comp??? :confused: The second to last is especially good too, i like the choice of wheels.
 
Im not sure why it didnt make it....but Im not going to question it..because I didnt want to hear it when I picked finalists. Its no big deal. Im glad you like the combo. Its kinda like on VWs...you can put on some wheels and some will dig it others will think you're crazy :dopey:
 
Yea, I love the car itself but those rims and the thick sidewall sports tires detract from its supercar aura. You still got some great pictures though.

KINDA RUSTY!!!!???????!!!!!! Those are great, I'm scrolling down thinking, wow, I've forgotten how good vr6 was, and then i see, "kinda rusty" at the bottom. Yea right! Those are awesome!
 
Your pictures look too smooth in some spots and not even sharpness in the other. It's very, very blurry in my opinon. Cool pics though 👍

It's harder to pic a favorite from the Lancia set, they are all equally good to my eyes... but the last one is so sharp and clear and yet so smooth - very good picture 👍
