Of course. I added you. I should be free all day after 1pm tomorrow if you'd like to see me race. From looking at all the lap times on Nurburgring GP, I'd say I would fit in with the amateur, but I'll let you decide for yourself. Let me know when you want to see me race.

We tend to have some fun nights during the week if you want to join some time when we're doing stuff then.

Edited yesterday's post to include @123yokomo in place of a now withdrawn GTP_Slim. Also added the procedure regarding cars getting damaged on the formation lap, which is in bold.
Eva
Going to go over race day procedure since things have changed. I'll try keeping everything in order of how it should be happening.
-Race lobbies will open at 3:50 p.m. Eastern U.S. time for all of the drivers to enter the room. Both @nascarfan1400 and myself will be advising everyone to read over this post to make sure they understand what is going to be happening before qualifying is started.
-Qualifying will start once all of the drivers have confirmed to the lobby hosts that they have read this post. Any questions can be asked on here or on our Discord server.
-Qualifying will be 30 minutes. Fuel and tire wear will be set to 1x so running as much as possible is going to be important. Once the thirty minute mark is reached, lobby hosts will signal everyone to finish their laps and part on the runoff outside turns 1 and 2 while the lobby host goes to screenshot the timing screens for the race reports. Once the qualifying times for everyone has been recorded, the lobby host will enter the track and correct their position on the leaderboard before starting the race.
-Due to issues with PD's starts, the starts will be done manually with a formation lap leading to a standing start. Formation lap speed will be 62 mph/100 kph. Everyone will be advised to give each other at least 5 car lengths of space during the formation lap.
-Once the field gets to the green, the pole sitter will line up on the 5th marked grid slot on track, which is on the left hand side. Everyone will lineup in their respective grid slots with 16th place lining up in grid slot #20. Race will be going green at 5:00:000 total time (5 minutes)
-Should drivers sustain damage on the formation lap, they will move out of the way for the rest of the field, and follow the field until they get to pit lane. Drivers damaged will park in front of the pit entrance and wait until the field goes green before pitting so they don't gain an advantage in the pit lane.
-Once the race has finished, everyone is encouraged to save the race replays. Lobby host will be saving a screenshot of the race results as well. Complaints and appeals must be brought forward by the Monday following a race.

Everyone is encouraged to add their lobby's host if they haven't already.

@Eva

Sorry to do this but it seems like there will be some maintenance being done in my area today by my service provider which will include intermittent interruptions starting at noon and possibly lasting into the supper hour. Given that I've just received this news, it might be better if I bow out this race and give someone else a chance to go, instead of my starting and getting disco'd part way through.

If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have none at all. :banghead:

My apologies, but I'm trying to give you as much heads up as I can, and have been given. At least they were nice to tell us all in the area beforehand, as some providers just go ahead and shut down the services (internet, phone, cable) without warning.

Have fun people... be fast be safe.

Cheers

I don't think there's a solution to that problem. I've seen it several times.

Ended up missing the start of the race by no more than 40 minutes. Ah well.

Good luck to everybody running today, especially @Sting and @250 GTO.

First round in the bag, I’m happy with 7th though had I not made a stupid mistake that damaged my engine to the point where getting to 110mph was a struggle, I think 6th would have been in the bag.

@GTIC Again, sorry for that bump. After Plotnik spun in the turn in front of you I caught you up so fast I don’t think the game liked our cars in that piece of track.

ATTN: PRO DRIVERS @Cobani @Eva @Antares26 @Ax4xGearHead - As my first proper participation in a race series in any game, I hope my racing etiquette was good enough.

All in all, I had a good time but I need to work on making less mistakes. They cost me big time.

Was a pretty decent race. I probably could've gotten closer to 9th place if I didn't #FuriStrong on Lap 16. I'm just glad that a) I survived and b) I didn't finish last.

For my first real online race in a league series, I had a blast. Some great battles with a number of Pro drivers, who I hope enjoyed racing with me as much as I did with them.

Hoping this season turns out to be a real eye-opener for me in terms of serious racing and what I need to do to prepare for these kinds of events. Will enjoy the rest of the season, for sure.

Click click goes the T150.

Tomorrow I'll have a massive post regarding tonight. Lobby #2 went smoothest, which is great. I put most of the VRR regulars there for that reason. Minus issues regarding someone literally reading none of the rules, lobby #1 went pretty well. Trial and error aside, it's something that's workable, which was important to find out. Provisional results will be out tomorrow morning. Final results after penalties have been applied will be out Monday. Congrats to @TNR_5zigen @GTRacer22 and @Antares26 who are provisionally overall podium. And congrats to @amcdo122 who won Am class.

Both 8-bit Racing cars had good race senses. 👍

Generally the whole of Am class in lobby 1 knew to give way, though some needed more prodding than others, it was generally safe getting through all of them, at least for me.

I even spun at last chicane for you, lol
I was kinda worried about what happened there, one moment I was braking on the inside, the next moment my rear view was clear. I couldn't tell if you didn't see me on the inside after 130R.

I saw you, but to let you pass I need to over shoot a bit but my tire was worn out, so when I am about to hit the barrier I just press e brake and turn the wheel, glad it works for both of us
