Yeah haha. Shame I had to lag, was having real fun on Madrid. Held first for 9 laps I think it was, then made a mistake, granted, my fault. Then band had a opening, he tapped my car and mine jumped into the wall, stopping dead and everyone went past. Then my car started jumping everywhere.

If I'd just dropped to behind band I could have fought back.

Forgot about this :banghead: . Really sorry.

EDIT: No one's replied, I guess you guys were disappointed I didn't come. Oh dear :nervous: .

I can't say i'm pleased with my results of the time trail event at the TGTT. In the off line practise sessions i drove low 1:19's and a occasional high 1:18. The pressure doesn't made me function very well. Something to work on for GT5 for me. Somehow i don't feel any pressure when where doing a full race . Perhaps the idea that it doesn't come to just two laps calms me down.

Yeah, plus everyone was watching you. That unnerved me.

Yeah its much easier to drive off line, something PD should sort hopefully GT6 maybe:yuck:

Having people also adds to preasure:nervous:

Would also like the walls removed to Stig doesn't have that problem:grumpy:

Has anyone heard that GT6 might be for PS3:dopey:

I think the last update to the physics changed it so that there is no longer a difference between online and offline physics, other than the fact that cars can't roll over during online play. Came a bit late, but I'm happy that they finally changed it, as it makes it easier for me to test out cars for the Series.

The invisible walls on TGTT really do need to be removed, as they ruin the track.

And then there's the whole GT6 on PS3... Personally, I can see why they would do it from a finiancial standpoint. Releasing another game on the PS3, means that they don't have to do a lot of work on the physics engine and the like. So less work, more dough. But while most of GT5's shortcommings aren't performance related, I really do wish they would just move on to the PS4. That way we could get bigger racing grids, and consistant 1080P graphics.

The fact that they have already spend a good deal of time on GT6 is reassuring though. Nice to know they aren't just releasing the same game every year. Here's hoping they learn from their mistakes.

Looking forward to the race tonight.

Replying to the earlier messages about differences between off and online physics.

It's something I was never able to pinpoint and say objectively that I can feel the difference (apart from not being able to roll your car online). But because it's a common known fact that this difference exists, I always do my practising online.

See u 2nite :P

I do most of m practise online too:)

Hopefully they will get GT6 right, looking forward to the race:)

Room is open. Be advised, damage and weather is on for this race. Racing Intermediate and Rain tires are allowed after road surface reaches 20%. Once it goes below, you have to change back to Sport Hard tires.

Do your best to avoid going wide on the different corners, and remember that we don't all have the same breaking points.

Lobby has been remade, due to problems.

I know your pain, I forgot to buy Rain tyres today :ouch: :ouch: :banghead: .

That's why I cruised past you, crashed, then cruised past you again.

Don't worry I'm over it now guys. Just irritated me knowing I could have possibly been in 2nd when I DC'ed.

It was not a bad race for me despite some bad luck during this race. Started 2nd but dropped to second to last place at the first chicane. The rain and pitstops launched me to 3rd place behind tuner and bananoides. Bananoides made an early pitstop and i went to the pit at the 17th lap.

Bananoides took the lead when tuner made his pitstop one lap after my pitstop. I got within 5 secs behind him and both were slowly catching op with bananoides. He made a mistake and both tuner and me overtook him.

I was 3 secs behind tuner and bananoides was close on my tail as well, eventually too close and crashed into me. My rear left was damaged and as a result i lost control at the porsche curves and crashed again. I had to limp to the pitstop, faster than 100 km/h was not possible. When i left the pit i had a gap of 1 minute and 25 secs. I actually had a good time reducing that gap to 49 secs at finish. It would have been better of course if bananoides didn't damaged me, but thats racing i guess.

Congrats tuner for taming that beast in these difficult conditions :).

I was furious about my first pitstop.. Went in and somehow accidentally clicked OK before changing to rain tires... Lost the time of the extra pitstop and the lousy lap trying to control the beemer in SH under heavy rain.

Ended up racing alone most of the time..

Anyway, good racing you guys out in front. Great skill and composure :)

yep, quite early on. and kept raining till the end

2h30 approximately

I made the wrong choice putting for Inters then. I would have struggled about lap 7.

Long one then. Wonder if Nurburgring will take that long, and how long I'll last.

Just found out that I'm getting a tax refund of 5820 DKK by the end of the month. Ohh yeah! :sly:

Anything quadruple figures is great but how much is that in British money do you know? :) "£"
