30 laps later and some additional tuning, and the best lap I've managed on Spa is 2.24.753. I just can't fathom how you got down to 2.21. I know that I can shave off a few tenths, but I don't believe I can get below 2.23.

And here's hoping that the physics are the same for offline/online, because all my testing today has been in offline practice.

Edit: Done some testing/tuning on La Sarthe. Just like Spa, all the Sport tires are at our disposal. Going to be using SM tires for that race. I think I've found a good tune for it on the track, though some fine-tuning is needed.

Going to stick with the classics then? Hope the cars are a little closer on Sarthe. Still sticking with the XJ13.

I don't have the ferrari (yet), so i don't know its pace. The Ford definitely is faster than the Jaguar. With max downforce the Ford's PP is 614. Maybe it's and option to limit the PP at 600? or 605?

I currently have 19,3 million credits, so a few seasonals should allow me to buy the ferrari.

I could always send you a ticket. Hopefully you'll get one and save a few bucks.

We're entering summer time soon... So be advised, that all must add an additional hour to the GMT time posted.

And hopefully you won't follow my footsteps and make the classic mistake of turning up for an event early when the lobby isn't even open yet.

I have to spend that money sooner or later anyways, so save yourself some time (and a ticket). But thanks anyway 👍.

Andy, if you have the idea that a great presence is near you upcoming weekend, then you're right :). I'm going on a fishing trip upcoming weekend and it turned out we're staying at a camp site in Middelfart, denmark. It's just one bridge away from Fredericia :nervous:.

I might sabotage your wheel/pedals while i'm there (followed by evil laughter) ;)

Haha. Bring it on!
I'll be waiting for you in a nuclear submarine. :)

This is how wars start. Small simmering rivalry. Sabotage. Then nuke warfare. :lol:

Anyway, do you know Middelfart sounds a little silly in English? :dopey:

I'll keep an eye on the sonar for nuclear submarines then. Just ordened a few torpedos and dept bombs on e-bay.

I laughed a bit too when i heard we're going to middelfart. That name probably will be changed to loudfart after we've been there

Well seeing as its bank holiday weekend I'm off on Friday and Monday, but still getting paid. So I think I'll sit at home and get paid to play PS3. :sly:

Typical, work have tried to screw me out of more money. Going to have to go into the HR office tomorrow and go ape sh:censored: crazy. :)

Also my PSN store won't open. Sony sent me a code for 30 day trial of PS Plus and I was thinking of getting the F1 stars to try it out. Free so why not but everytime I try to open it I just get an error message.

Life likes to pick and troll on people sometimes. You might have just been that unlucky person that life wants to troll next.

It's actually not bad. Nice mix of F1 incorporated into Mario Kart. Say what you want but that field belongs to Mario Kart and trying to change the goal posts won't get you anywhere. So code masters have been intelligent and included things like speed pads, which charge up KERS, power ups like safety cars and rain clouds. You race on track that are twisted and mad but then you find yourself going through Eau Rouge and you know you're on Spa. I like it.

I would get it but I prefer my racing sims but I do buy the odd arcade racing game.

I'm a sims kinda guy too but sometimes you'll see something and think maybe, just maybe it'll be fun enough to distract me from the fact I just kick flipped an F1 car. :)

Troll physics much? :lol:

I thought I was going to update the thread this evening. Then the game bored me to death... Not that fond of taking pictures for the thread...

Saving this info here so I won't forget it when I do get around to actually updating the thread.
Spa = 57 laps = 400km
Monza = 69 laps = 400km
Daytona Road Course = 52 laps = 300km
La Sarthe = 60 laps with time progression set to 4

I guess there wasn't a pen lying around somewhere for you to note this information down? Could have at least put it in spoiler tags :) .
