Read my May 15th post.

I need a headcount on who's attending the races. Because I'm not going to bother with hosting races this long for just 4-5 people.

I'm 100% for Spa, 99% for the week after.

I do agree though. Screw driving round Le Mans for hours on my own, if I was going to do that I'd just win the A Spec Endurance race.
 
Still missing a response from some of you!

Alternatively, would it be better if the Spa race was moved to next saturday (may 25th), and the La Sarthe race to June 1st?

Can't do June 1st, getting eyes tested, then getting Contacts, they said to not book anything else that day because it'll feel like I'm there all day. :grumpy:

Meh. This is shaping up to just be one huge failure. We simply don't have the participants we need to make these races fun and exciting.

Even with all the people we've had attend so far Le Mans looked to be weak. Which is a shame.
 
we'll see how many people join the race today. If we don't get enough people, then I might just cancel the race, and host a track day instead.

When are you comming back? We'll only be 5 people with you included, and we'll do a short 10 lap race. The rest of the session will be track day.

On another note, the entire championship has been cancelled, and I'm done with hosting GT5 online championships. It's a complete waste of everyones time, when half the people either forget about events, or make other plans for dates where we have races scheduled. I'm personally sick of it.

I'll probably still do track days every now and then, but that's it until GT6.

Sorry I'm coming back on now. I thought we we're having KFC. Turns out it was a full roast.

I don't blame you for cancelling. Seems unless you've got a group of 10-15 regulars you're very unlikely to get new people. Before this event started I posted on the walls of around 40 people who I've raced with, both winners and backmarkers. 2 people said no. That was all. Hour and half effort finding and posting for two no's. It's like Job hunting.

Edit: YYYEEESSSSS. IT WORKED!! :D Thanks for the paint Jawehawk. I had 3 GT Academy suits in my inbox and it wouldn't let me accept them. Just wouldn't do anything when I clicked receive but with your awesome Deep Pink Metallic paint when I clicked receive it took all 4. Thanks. 👍 👍

I can totally relate.. I organize most of my team's events and people just don't appreciate the hard work that's involved.

We have a few events coming up, and I'd be more than happy if you guys joined. I'll be posting and PMing you when the time comes.

Drop me a message with any events you host and I'll be sure to have a look. Providing you've dropped that god awful penalty system from your events. :lol:

Really a shame that this event has to end this way. Thanks for hosting all these races Andy 👍, i sure had lots of fun (and sometimes quite the opposite as well). Lets hope GT6 will bring more people towards GT planet.

PS4 has been pre-ordered, so now I'm just waiting for PD to confirm if GT6 will also be availible on the PS4. If it is, then I'll be getting it on that platform. Also, we need to do a track day again. WE MUST!

I'm hyped for everything gaming, as E3 has been absolutely fantastic this year. Sony's press conference was outstanding.

I'm not pre-ordering till an actual release day is announced. I don't know if it's October or December yet.
