Just completed my first trade since the whole server issues... Matte paint for a ferrari Enzo... No problems at all, enzo showed up instantly.

I sent a formula gt to a member on this forum about 30 minutes ago, and they say that it has not been recived.

I checked their log and it has not shown up, they give me thier part of the deal (stealth car pack) I had to Download them but got them ok.

Does this happen quite a lot, cars not getting sent, as my past two trades in the last two days went through fine.

Now if this sort of thing happens, is thier gonna be any piont to trading.

Seems not. Between the cars legitimately disappearing and the scammers I'm done. Just about with the whole game, definitely with trading, this debacle has taken the fun out of playing, and that's not cool.

I agree. It's bad enough to be limited to one trade a day, but when you can't count on a car arriving..... 👎

And this is AFTER they've fixed the servers..?

^^^^^. this guy... i've actually started videotaping all of my trades with my blackberry and then I email th transaction to the other party, so there cannot be any dispute if the car is lost in cyberspace...

Well that must be why when I tested sending a Vitz to my alt account it went missing... my alternate self is scamming me.
 
Slackboy72, it's just insurance against false accusations. That's all.
We all know that there are plenty of legitimate failed transfers.
 
Just did another trade... my R92CP for an Audi R10 TDi. I had to restart for the TDi to show up but other than that, no problems.

Don't let people run that "i sent the car" game on you. Have proof or it didn't happen... word to shoei's blackberry camera :lol:
 
PD needs to put a something to tell us that our 1 trade a day is up, and not allow the second gift to even be initiated.

They do, once you sent your car for the day, the message "You can only gift one car a day" come up when you try to send another one. It's when you trying to cheat this system that the car goes missing.
 
So correct me if im wrong, 3 people have successfully traded since 10pm GMT? Ive got a trade waiting, a minolta for a nascar, but dont wanna go through with it if it'll fail.

Just happened to me. I recieved the car of the other person. But this person did not recieve my car. -.- I checked the logs and it really did not appear there. So I compared with yesterday, the log of another guy where I sent him a car and I was able to see that he recieved it. God, I hope this will be fixed soon and people are going to recieve their cars. -.-

Ofcourse I'd send the car I recieved back tomorrow. :)

I have done 2 trades today with no problems (One was matte paint for a car) but some people still report issues.

Cheers for the replys, i sent the minolta, and video'd the sending, ill just have to wait and see .........
 
Another guy just sent a Toyota 7 that hasn't showed up...

I did a deal for an FGT the other night when **** was hitting the fan and that went through perfectly.

WTF is going on here?

Oh and I got the museum card login bonus then restarted the console to see if the car would show up, and got another museum card login bonus... And still no frickin car. The other guy is pissed.
He video'd it too btw.

EDIT 2: Just logged in to GT life without restarting the game and received ANOTHER museum card bonus.... Chriiiist.
EDIT 3: More museum cards.. If it wasn't for the missing cars, I'd laugh.
EDIT 4: More museum cards.. (where's the benny hill music?)
EDIT 5: Guy sent a 320i touring car that didn't show up, but the paints we sent to test did. The car I sent him went through fine.

They need to take the servers down again and fix this **** properly.

Question, does the log update only if the other person is online? I sent a car to someone while he's offline and the log hasn't update yet. Not sure if the car is lost or not...

Yeah, he/she needs to log on... Generally speaking, due to the limitations ut in place and the somewhat shaky nature of the Gt5 servers, I think it's best if both parties are online at the same time when trading... Just my two cents...

I just sent a bloody Alto Lapin (10grand) to myself from another account which went through just fine... Un-effing-believable!

Low value cars go through no problems, it's the high value ones that seem to go missing!
 
Please, when you report a success or failure, please make the distinction of whether you are sending it to different accounts or all to the same account. The problem has been when you send multiple items to the same account, only the first one will go through.
